OMGTIMDWAN (2012-11-01)

Joytoys (2012-11-01)

OMGTIMDWAN (2012-10-31) I hope this pricks site doesnt make ****, fk phil Ivey that greedy POS steals millions from everyone at ftp then when all the players need his support he says fk that I wanna go make some money elsewhere.. And he sues them as the face of the company, while trying to state its because its unfair the players arent getting paid back, Fk him.

You wonder why he made 19 million as the biggest owner on FTP while stars he struggles to even win, pretty funny that he was an over aggressive donk at plo with any draw and always connected.. Funny everytime he did 100k flips he always came out ahead by a lot.. It was soo obvious his account was a scam Lederer and Ferguson quickly told Ivey no more flipping because its was blatantly obvious he was never going to lose.

And for the morons that cant use common sense Phil Ivey owes FTP 2million+ in loans and why you ask would someone who was +19 million on FTP would take loans well it's because hes greedy and took out his money immediately because he knew online gambling was illegal and it was only a matter of time so he'd rather use the player funds.

Wow. What an unbelievably "LOL" post. Firsty, irrelevant though this point is he wasn't the bigger owner of FTP.

Secondly his volume of play on Stars is miniscule compared to other players, he is still in profit (despite a pretty big downswing) and has chose to play mainly limit games (he won around $11m of his $19m over 4 years at big bet games).

Thirdly, he didn't win anywhere near all his flips and the reason he was told to stop is because he was doing nothing to aid the cause of those trying to convince the US Govt that poker was a game of skill, not chance. Which of course it is.

Fourthly, so what if he got a loan from FT? as has previously been stated he often took them and paid them back rather than the hassle or wiring huge sums to his online account. Why would he pay them back after Black Friday? You think that money would have gone to the players? Would it hell, it would have gone to cover up more shi*t and pay Ray Bitar and co their big fat salaries. Pretty sure he'll be paying it back now.

5th - he is not being accused of collusion and will almost certainly be vindicated in that ludicrous casino case.

You obviously know better than all the other high stakes pro's how much of a "donk" he is. They tend to think he's rather good at poker. His 8 WSOP bracelets, 5 final tables at last years WSOP, his huge winnings in live games and $17 mill in tourney winnings also seem to indicate this. However, you, you utter genius have figured out that he is a donk at PLO, one of his best games.

Kudos to you sir.

Your just another typical moron who that's blinded by what Phil has done. First he is the biggest share holder (owner) that's not on the board.

2nd he barrowed money from the player funds even though he received 1million a month salary and he was up 19+million on the site, so I guess your dumbass will assume he was short on funds in real life and needed all the money off the site asap.. he hardly ever had any downswings so when exactly did he need these loans?? Yes i know im right I actually use my brain, try it some time.

3rd I've watched most of the years that Ivey played on Full Tilt and he was an overaggressive donk for the most part and would connect over 50% of the time over large sample on just 20-30% hands, and I watch almost Every flip he did and he's done a bit and he never lost a flip session.

4th What the **** does winning 8 wsop bracelets have anything to do with poker skill, they are lottery tournaments and are filled with good to great players, they people the make the final table are 1 thing lucky not skillful. Yes cash game poker is skill no doubt, but CLEARLY tournament poker had NOTHING to do with skill because the person that wins ran hotter then everyone else and with such deep fields a 1% edge wont change ****.. For fk sake look at Hellmuth one of the worst fundamental yet super successful poker players in history.. I have no respect for the players that are only rich only from tournaments. And Antonio Esfandiari & Jason Mercier are prefect examples of rich because of luck not skill.

Nice to see Phil acquire so much of the player funds that are owed to the people but dip****s like you still dont care that he tried to ruin the companies chance of selling and getting the players paid because he wanted more money for himself. Hes a greedy piece of **** that's the truth.

I think we have found the biggest non proven hater in the world yall. How can you make these dumb comments about how he's not a good player. When all of the greatest (might i add proven) players in the world; tournament and cash game pros say different? I think the words used when they describe him are; greatest of all time, very tough to beat, mythical reading ability and so on. You sir are a IDIOT.

The only reason Phil Ivey is catching slack for the full tilt fiasco is because he is the biggest name in poker, so people tend to forget other parties who have and admitted the same use of loans and non repayment. I 100% believe that those loans will be repaid by all parties except david benyamine donk and mike matusow broke donk lol.

Even if Phil Ivey would of made a stance for what you call the poker world. The same actions would have been taken by the DOJ against full tilt. I don't care what Andy Bloch says. Nobody was getting paid the company had no cash flow period. Idiot!

Sounds like you really like Phil Ivey. And yes you are correct, they tweeked his FTP account so he can win every 100k flips, hit every draw in PLO so he can win +19M. Please tell me, Did Lederer and Ferguson yell @ Ivey when they told him to stop flipping? or was it written in an email? or maybe they talked about it over dinner like gentlemen?

Please tell me cuz it seems to me that you were right there when shyt went down.

1. you dislike him but you followed most of his action which is lol but is probably the soundest think you've said cause
2. any "most" is no statistical evidence --> worthless assumptions
3. share the database you have collected so we can check the math about the 20-30-50% assumption
4. "almost" works just like "most" go back to point 2

WCS064 (2012-10-31)

Paulrx7 (2012-10-31) you really gonna trust a guy who allegedly borrowed illegal loans from the old fulltilt

and never paid it back and also a guy under investigation for collusion in a london

casino, hmm good luck , yes ivey can play poker but thats as far as i would trust anyone

associated with former fulltilt poker.

He borrowed illegal loans? How does one borrow illegal loans?

None of the loans he received were illegal. He, among other pros, got money put in their FTP account as a loan so they didn't have to deposit, which takes a lot of time and costs the company money to process. He got many loans over the years that were paid back.

It is true that he didn't make an attempt to pay his current outstanding loans after Black Friday, but neither did anyone else, including Barry Geenstein. Considering the fact Ray Bitar was still making $200k a month, I can see why no one paid back.

Also, its absurd to say he's under investigation for collusion in London. The casino thats refusing to pay him never mentioned collusion. They just said something vague about an investigation. He was playing in a game that is basically impossible to cheat in any way. It's pretty clear they are just trying to avoid paying him the $10M he's owed.

well put sir +1.

it says that the main focus will be LIVE play, not ONLINE as all of the various training sites out there are focused on.

Ivey stated: “I want to teach the world how to play better poker. I feel like there’s a big hole in the poker community. I speak with people all the time about poker, and people say they’d love to learn how to play but they don’t know where to start. It’d be nice to teach people how to play the correct way.”

oh a brilliant idea. why didn't somebody come up with this idea of a coaching website before... oh wait

really, has ivey ever used the internet for anything but playing poker? how can he talk of a "big hole in the poker community" when there are already dozens of these sites working for years, hey even negreanu has one!

i guess they just prepare for offering realmoney games in case onlinepoker gets legalized in the us.
