I don't often post bull**** topics, so let me get away with one please.

How good is Patrik Antonius? What makes him so good and how much better is he then Phil Laak?

Patrik does not like to be called a poker player. He would probably consider himself a professional gambler/business man. He plays all the games, very well. Crushes the biggest games online and live, has a lot of gamble in him, but still has a balanced life, with two nice homes, and a wife/kids. Good to have guys like him in poker, they give the game a better image.

Haha thats so far from the reality.. Tom Dwan recently described him as one of the best players in the world, he crushed all the nosebleeds games for like 14mill.. Maybe he is kind of exploitable HU nowadays, but he has a tremendous 6max game, ask anybody:b So i wonder on what terms can you describe him as a OK-player?

Phil Ivey says he's the best. I'm sure I heard durrrr speak highly of him, and IHateJuice thinks he's the toughest opponent he's ever faced at Limit Hold'em. What do they know though.

Oh yeah, he's the second biggest winner in online history.

He plays fairly aggressive, he follows up when he bluffs, he has a strong well balanced game, he doesn't do a lot of mistakes and he almost never tilts. That's a nightmare right there.

It's a strange question to even ask how good he is...

He's made millions from cash games, both online and live, in so many formats of the game.

He doesn't even have an online account that is down, and he's had a lot of names ;)

He's done really well in tournaments as well, especially early on in his career...

On top of that, he was part of the 'original' Full Tilt owners/sponsored players group who made even more millions from the site.

He's even (reliably) rumoured to have backed a number of players who have spiked big tournament results (Mizrachi etc...) so even in that respect, he's done pretty well too.

Only my opinion... but, yeah, he's pretty good ;)

I think that you may have misunderstood me when I said 'original' Full Tilt.
ie. in contrast to the 'new' Full Tilt... ;)

I hope this clarifies this for you.

We're pretty sure that he did ok financially from the 'original' Full Tilt site ;)

patrik has never been known for his NLHE game. He's certainly the best HU limit player, and a pretty good HUPLO player, but hes definitely not in the top 10 for HUNL.
