RE: Just experienced the worst beat of my life
what can you do. all in with a 2k stacks and blinds at 75/150 is pretty crazy, and runner runner is always a sick way to lose. on the other hand calling off all your chips with AQ preflop at the early stages of a tournament is pretty bad as well. at best your opponents has a pair and you're racing for your tournament life which you dont need to be that early in the tourny, at worst you're completely dominated by AA KK or AK. bad beat maybe, but you should rethink your play there as well. next time fold the AQ and wait for a better spot.

RE: Just experienced the worst beat of my life
rather i should say, pushing all in there pre. as you pushed not called, but after the reraises a push there amounts to the same things, he's certainly priced into a call.

RE: Just experienced the worst beat of my life
What are you talking about? How do you consider that a 2 outer? All the money got in before the flop when it was a coinflip. Just because you flopped 2 pair and he hit a straight doesn't make it a bad beat. If you would have gotten the money in on the flop it would have been disgusting but that was not the case. People always act like they took some horrible beat then post the hand and the money went in pre flop even, sick complaint.

RE: Just experienced the worst beat of my life
Not only did all the money go in preflop so it was a virtual coinflip. It wasnt even a 2 outer with 1 card to come. It was a 6 outer. He had 2 remaining 2's for a set and 4 remaining 4's for a straight. Your losing somewhere around 12% of the time with those odds and 1 to come I believe? Last time I checked 2+4 doesnt equal 2, thats for sure.

RE: Just experienced the worst beat of my life
will u morons hop off his *** i mean he was confused from an outs perspective so what. like nobody ever makes that mistake once in a while it happens to everyone. the guy saying he was risking all his chips in the early stages of a tourney is wrong. bb was 150 and hes sittin on 1300 in chips. unless it was an utg raise with the ducks then its worth the gamble. i mean if ur sitting at a table with an m of 5.5 ish you cant sit around and wait for big pocket pairs, you gotta gamble at some point. it hurts to lose like that with the queens and then the runner runner straight, but thatll happen sometimes. its unavoidable. there is no way the money isnt going in, in either situation. every time a beat happens like that to me i just think, well, nothing i could possibly have done so fuck it. lol its just gonna happen and happen and happen throughout ur whole life and if u let that kinda stuff buy you constantly, you will go crazy. i feel ur pain bro trust me. brush it off and next time u play remember that the quads vs boat hand just happened to u, so ur not due for a really bad beat for a while!!!!! woo hoo

RE: Just experienced the worst beat of my life
So are you trying to say I'm an idiot because I don't think they guy took a bad beat when the money went all in even? It wasn't a bad beat, not even close. It was a coinflip with the complainer slightly behind if anything. It wasn't a bad beat, it doesn't matter how the flop, turn, river played out, the money went all in 50/50 and thats all that matters. If you want to go around calling people idiots on internet forums thats your own business but atleast know what you're talking about before you do so. If you think thats a bad beat you are an idiot.
