They are pretty much where they started. 75K isn't much in this game. He was up 450K at one time.

He's up 779k for the whole thing, not 75. I wonder if Antonius is going to try to buy out of the challenge if the next few sessions don't go his way. If he's stuck over a million with less than 20k hands to go it will be really tough to come back.

pretty sick hand the aces vs aces. I am rooting for antonius because he has had a terrible year in poker.(online and off) I don't know how big his bankroll is but I'd hate to see him vanish from high stakes poker. I doubt that will happen as top tier players back each other from time to time. (heard doyle lent gus 4mil at one point and actually got it back lol)

hahahahahahahha epic first post!!!!!!
antonius might be the person that has won the most money IN THE WORLD this year on poker if you don't count iveys sidebets on WSOP.
He is almost 6 million dollar up this year online, took 500K of durrrr @ aussie, won the most this summer at bobbys room which has to be a fuckload.
think it would be very strange if he has less than 10M profit this year... he dosen't seems like a idiot gambler that bet on sport and casino games like the other ppl.

Discosquirrel didn't say he was only 75k up for the whole thing - he was just noting that Dwan was up $450k in last nights sessions at one point and ended up a lot less than that on the night, not over the full 27,000 hands.

Not that it is relevant, but Antonius was a 19-1 favourite on the flop, so it was not his luckiest moment, to put it mildly.

I suggest not to think this way, else there is a real danger, that you become sooner or later crazy, when you are a tournament player.
When you are all-in, have a look at the opponent's hand and do not look at the result.
At the end of a session you can use a tool like PokerEV to measure the luck, if it's cashgame. - In tourneys it's very difficult to measure the luck, coz it's possible, that you lose only the most important hands.
I wrote some programs to analyse the correlation "ROI->Earn" and the results were disappointing.
When you have a ROI of 10% and you play the fk 45er on Pokerstars, then you have around 86% to win a serie of 1.000 tourneys, that means you can lose money as a winning playe, when you play 1 month fk SNGs.
When there are more players, 180 or more, then you need to play much more tourneys to make the money, maybe 10k, LOL.
