Sorry if this was already posted.
I'm not sure if it was, but it's interesting/troubling anyways.

Must read for anyone who plays online:

RE: internetpokers got hacked

Well apparently this Swede planted a bug into his computer, and could see his cards while playing HU with him.

This is really fuking scary. Doesn't anyone else think this is crazy and shady as hell.

I'm so sick of scumbag cheaters online. It's really ruining it for all of us good honest players out here (which are the majority)

Is their anyone here that know about hacking>

There must be a way to plant a bug in someones computer and mirror all of the images that are on there computer while online, by projecting them onto another computer.

Any thoughts?

RE: internetpokers got hacked

There are programs that allow you to monitor a remote computer screen undetected. The hard part is getting one installed on the target machine. It's highly unlikely that someone randomly hacking into computers on the internet did this. Almost certainly the program was installed by someone that had his email or AIM address. He either opened an infected email, or it was installed via a flaw in AIM. If it was installed along with a root kit, it would be virtually impossible to detect.

My advice to internetpokers would be to purchase a computer that is used exclusively for playing poker. Put it behind a very high quality firewall on an isolated network from his other machines, and don't use the machine for email or AIM or anything else.
