GL, seems like you like the learning process of the micro limits. Hourly rate must suck though. If you feel you are decent player... personally I would deposit $500 or so and start hitting up the 25nl or 50nl tables where you can make some decent hourly ($10-20 /hr)

He won't make anywhere close to that much hourly at 25-50nl if he's only making an average of a couple BB/hr at 10nl.

RE: bankroll building

GL dude, although building a roll at micro cash is tuff.

I would strongly advise 9max SnG's or HU SnG's if your HU play is upto it.

RE: bankroll building

If ur interested in building a bankroll and you're comfortable multi tabling you should check this out http://academy.fulltiltpoker.com/lessons/video/257/bankroll-building. I just watched this yesterday and am about to deposit 50 and work my way up. Playing limit reduces ur variance. And 2bb/100 hands is realistic at those levels. Good luck to you sir and i hope this helpsCool

RE: bankroll building

The bankroll you would require will be considerably larger than 20 full buy-ins for cash, or 40 buy-ins for tournaments.

RE: bankroll building

OP - Nice blog.......only thing I would say is I know you want to "Rise as a Pheonix", but beware that these low stakes can really affect your game. I don't think you will be able to reallly guage your progress (Skill wise) properly. I usually used to hit the low stakes cash but now basically stick to $10 9man Sit n Go's. If your skills are on point you should do well

I started my own challenge last week to take some sde money to Florida on the 15th. Switched sites and am doing fairly well......

sn = NYCSCORPION on Absolute Poker.

RE: bankroll building

gahh im too bad with the updates. sorry about that so much. What i said earlier in my blog fell to the ground. I had too much to look after. Got a new ferret, preparing for the family increasing. and stuff. I have this friday deposited 30 bucks on FT. I know it doesn't sound like much but then again this is a micro bankroll building thread. I will begin to play as soon as i can and have the time for it. and i promise ill update my blog soonish after my either daily or weekly sessions (updating 1 time a week at least)
