dealer stole mah aces!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7i-6tacwqo&feature

pretty sick. lots of arguments on whos fault it is but it was obviously the dealer's fault. it was obvious he was hesitating a little bit when he tried to muck her hand, he should have asked her if she's really mucking it + the fact that she was all in. daaaamnn

RE: dealer stole mah aces!!

Wow, you gotta protect your cards in a 10K buy in tournaments! But the dealer reached all the way to infront of
her and pulled them away. Pretty lame.

RE: dealer stole mah aces!!

I've got some craps as well implicating dealers and tournament organisators. 3 way pot just after bubble, had bottom set, foes had top pair with different kickers and the action was going on until the dealer put the turn card while there were some raisings, and yet me to talk.

Organisators decided to cancel the hand because there was guy who was yelling at him and menacing him. How to be small in your pants and ruin all your event's credibility.

... then maybe it is you who is the donk.
He had bottom set his two opponents had top pair. He feels (rightly so) that he would have profited on this pot. Dealer misdealt the hand and the hand was cancelled. Sorry for the bad luck Bpock, hopefully the dealer doesn't work there anymore!!

RE: dealer stole mah aces!!

I don't really understand why the dealer took her cards. Her entire stack was in front of her cards, so unless she is donating her stack to the pot she is all in and should keep her cards. The floorman didn't really make any effort to find her cards. I think the floor should've asked what specific cards she had and looked at the 5-6 cards closest to her in the muck to see if they were there. I thought that whenever all your chips are in front of your cards it means you are all in and can't take the bet/call back, but they gave her her chips back? Strange.

You have to remember that while she may have bought in for $10,000 the dealer is probably making $10 an hour so he isn't too worried about it either way...

RE: dealer stole mah aces!!

I almost always sit in one of the seats right next to the dealer and have always said that if they can somehow get my cards away from me then I didn't want to play them, so if I was the one to have my hand mucked I would take the blame but in this case it is 95 percent the dealer's fault, what a terribly sick situation. As much live poker as I have played I thought I had seen most any situation involving dealer error but that one was just sick.

P.S. Was the comment someone made earlier about being small in the pants the same as saying "grow some balls" I never heard that phrase before, I am guessing the person who said it is English or European- lol

Wow that really sucked for her. The dealer took her cards and she was all in! Both of them were at fault though. The dealer was at fault because, well obviously... But she was also at fault since it was her responsibility to protect her cards.
