Enjoy my misery :)

Well, might as well make a one time return, just so you can bask in my misery. Qualified for the Cake Poker $200K guaranteed, was getting deep into the money, and was one double up away from being a legit final table contender with 40 left.

Then, THIS happened...

Have fun with this, while i'll be looking for my noose. Smile

Also, Durrr failed to win a bracelet, BIATCHES!! Cool Cool

RE: Enjoy my misery :)

Let's just say that I had a "less than super-polite" conversation with him afterwards.... Where, with no trace of sarcasm whatsoever, he said that he just had a feeling... And that if I start going by "feeling" also, I'll win lots of money...

The only feeling I had involved breaking both of his legs. Smile

He ended up getting knocked out in 11th place, when he went all in deep'ish stacked with 9 6 soooted. This time, his "feeling" didn't work out.

My only questions are:

1-Why call 2/3 of your stack when deep into a big tournament?
2-Why call at THAT PRECISE POINT??
3-Why call at that precise point AGAINST ME, when I had a rare chance of getting a huge payday (for me, it was)
4-Why did he get rewarded? Flop was perfect, why not just have him miss 2 more cards?

I hate poker. that $560 prize doesn't feel very big compared to the 5 figures that the final 5 got. *sigh* lol

hmmm weird..i also would let them check i mean seriously who moves all in with 82 on the btn after you shove for 80K

has to be a missklick or a "cheater" noone risks in a sunday major almost his whole stack with 82

Well ok, what do you suggest I do? You can give me instructions, and it wouldn't hurt for me to try I guess.

All I know is that if it WAS a misclick, he lied about it, and he seemed proud of his "move/hunch". But yeah, WTF...

RE: Enjoy my misery :)

dunno you had history with him? did he play the whole tourney strange? you could let cake send you all hh from this specific player or atleast email them about the situation could also be a random donk but wont belive he lucked his way through the whole field....i mean he had 140K and then risk it with 82 this deep?doubt it....but it could be possible dont know whats goinbg on in the heads of these donks.

worht a check imo

just meail cake and see from there

edit: alos these two players "didijustwin" and "whyplaygood?" did you recognized them earlier in the tourney or saw something strange/weird from them?

RE: Enjoy my misery :)

Not until that, no... However, starting with about 300 players left (top 110 made the money), the play felt more like a freeroll than a $200K tourney. Seriously, it went from 300 to 70 players in about an hour (and the blinds weren't that crippling.) Just all in showdown after all in showdown (nothing as bad as the 2 8, but still extremely loose). So because of that, people changed tables all the time, so I couldn't really notice anyone in particular.

So, I'm guessing that he really was just a clueless moron that truly believes in hunches (aka, a VLT/Bingo type moron)... Unless he has a software that can not only look at other people's hole cards, but can also see future flops/turns/rivers?

My guess is that I'm just *that* unlucky, I guess. That hand perfectly describes the last 2+ years of poker for me. "The bigger that the hand/situation is, the more sick and illogical and emotionally crippling that the bad beat will be." It's like a physics formula. lol

Thanks for the advice though. I wish that this never happens to you. Just to Samboyy, who was the only person in this thread to go off topic and to act like an immature a-hole. Smile
