RE: HSDB Tournament (Tonight, 22nd September)
FlashGordon (2010-09-08) I think the HSDB tour & HSDB tournaments in general is a great idea, but are you ever gonna have one of these, on a site that people actually wanna play???? like Ftp or Pokerstars. So far HSDB tournaments has always been at ridiculous sites who are desperately in need of more players.....16plrs in a tournament LOOOL - $150 = great value OMFG I can't stop laughing! Have these tournaments at proper sites, and I'm sure at least half the forum will show up, we would love to compete against each other, but as long as the tournaments are held at sites like the ones so far, you will continue to have close to no show ups. IMO
Thanks for your feedback sir,
I still think it's a VERY great value for the small time players who only running $3, $5, $10 sngs etc. We will add other sites to this tour also, to make it easier for everyone to play, I agree on that. But, this could also be a good chance to try out another site than Pokerstars/Full Tilt Poker, which pretty much everyone on this forum is familar with.
The value itself on the smaller networks is usually quite good, try to play a Omaha hi/lo tournament on merge/everleaf/cake etc, and compare that to the players on stars/ftp!

I'm aware of this, I've tried just about every site out there in my time. I know tournaments at the level you describe, are alot easier to win at other sites than ftp/ps, but it's just so boring to compeed for so small prices.
Am I allowed to create my own private tournament on Pokerstars, with a buy-in of my choise, and call the tournament "HSDB something" and create a password, and post about the tourney here to get forums users to participate?

Flash: Yeah, it would ofcourse be much funnier if we had about 50 players in each. However, we gonna plan some events on Full Tilt Poker also, i'll inform you when it's time!

Yes you can create private tournaments on Pokerstars or Fulltilt, whatever buy in or game you want. I have actually been thinking about maybe getting one going for HSDB users, just a bit of fun on Sunday nights or something, maybe $5-$10 buy in. Would love the chance to bust TopTenGuy in one
I have never set one up before so not sure about the process, think its just a simple email or something.
However this thread obv isnt the place to discuss it, but if ya ever feel like starting a new thread with this idea, i will jump in and support it.
As to these tourneys at smaller sites, i do think there is great value, with little fields/ buy ins and money added. However at the moment i dont have credit card so cant relly sign up to new sites.

RE: HSDB Tournament (Tonight, 22nd September)
I did finally manage to login after two reinstalls but then the retarded deposit system prevented me from entering anyway. I guess it's since they allow americans that they can't just let you pay with your VISA card but it annoyed the living hell out of me that even though I had 20 minutes before the thing started I couldn't manage to deposit any freaking money. I just got one error after an other and at two times the client froze and I had to restart. Hopefully I can join next time.

Okey, I'll forward this to our affiliate manager directly. Did you use Visa by moneybookers?

RE: HSDB Tournament (Tonight, 22nd September)
Yeah, I tried. Now they have debited my VISA account with $20 but I have no money on either MoneyBrokers or PlayersOnly. I hope the debit will be revoked tomorrow since a similar thing happened when buying a train ticket once but we'll see.

RE: HSDB Tournament (Tonight, 22nd September)
So money from my bank was sent yesterday to MoneyBookers but I have no funds on either MoneyBookers or PlayersOnly. I talked to my bank and they confirmed the transaction.
Have anyone else had problems? Should the money be credited immediately to my account or is there a processing time?
I think I used the option Nordea by MoneyBookers.
