RE: pstars sunday million
who ever thinks this was a bad deal is just not being truthful to themselves. whats the odd of ever making a final table like this ever again. i think BDbeast said it best when zuerr was holding out "this is real life" remember this is tourament poker we are talking about Bad Beats galore. when you have that type of money staring you in the face you take it you dont say "gee idk lets play these super high blinds and see how long my luck last". 9th place 260k online poker who turns that down, with i believe like 13BB.

RE: pstars sunday million
Congrats to ALL, yea zeurrr was holding out for 600k and he was 4th in chips when FT started. Most of the table had a few things to say about it, esp BDBEAT. Syndrome came out VERY GOOD compared to money - finish...

RE: pstars sunday million
Warning!! Wall of text!
Short version:
Google translated article from a danish poker news site (pokernyhederne.com) about the player zeurrr either playing underaged or his father played in his place which might also be a bit sketchy.
Long version:
There are doubts about who is the holder of the PokerStars account named 'zeurrr', which yesterday reached number 5 in the Sunday Million for $ 518,402. Father and son are mystery protagonists.
The Dutch PokerStars player 'zeurrr' was anything but at home in Sunday's fifth-anniversary edition of the Sunday Million at PokerStars.
Just five hours before kick off he qualified through a $ 2.20 satellite to debut in the weekly tournament.
Yet he managed to get past more than 59,000 opponents and go from the tournament with $ 518,402 after the controversial deal at the final table start. He finished in fifth place.
The huge score reached a journalist from the country's second largest newspaper, Algemeen Dagblad, ear, and he decided to try to get in touch with the local newly minted half-millionaire. writes MPCpoker.com.
In a Dutch poker forum took the journalist to the conclusion that 'zeurrr' also uses the alias 'jiminho3' and on the Twitter profile of the same name it had owner set to Jimmy Jonker.
The journalist found Jimmy Jonkers phone, but was much to his surprise greeted by Jimmy Jonkers father who argued that it was he who had played the tournament and won more than $500.000. It surprised the journalist overly, but he since found out Jos Jonkers son Jimmy is only 17 years old and thus not old enough to play on PokerStars.
Since then, Twitter profile changed appearance. Initially the name was simply changed to the father's name Jos Jonker, but the profile is now completely closed.
PokerStars has not made any official statement on the matter.
