zeurrrr did nothing wrong imo

Pokerstars is rediculous. Why are they even questioning disqualifying this kid cuz he was 17? Are there that many haters out there? 50% of online players were under 18 when they started playing. If they take his money then I will never logon to stars again. I know for a fact that WithColor and Doorbread (same person) was 15 when he started playing on both stars and ftp and know he's playing 25/50 regulary. Its crazy.

yea, he didnt do anything wrong. he did something illegal, though.

what's gonna happen with his money next is totally up to Stars. i suppose they could just freeze his withdrawal until he is 18, but it'd be like encouraging other people to break their T&C and i don't think they want to be perceived as a company that doesn't respect their own rules.

Thats against the rules also. He knew he was breaking the rules so what does he expect.

RE: zeurrrr did nothing wrong imo

Im not an expert but i think it is not only to pokerstars whether they pay it or not.
In some countries it is illegal to gamble at all and in some you must have a certain age like 18 or 21.
So it could be against the law to gamble before that and therefore could be a problem for pokerstars itself to let this happen + the father and at the very end of course for the son who could be ending with getting no money at all.

RE: zeurrrr did nothing wrong imo

Are you kidding that zeurrr did nothing wrong????  Sure he or they did...If it were him playing on his account then he violated the terms of service...and that is WRONG !....If that is not wrong then open site up to all of any age....why not let 10 years old play....Wrong and it does not make it right because others do it.(Let a underage person hit a slot maching jackpot in Vegas and see if they get paid.)........and if it were his father playing on his sons account then that is jus as Wrong.!!!  Doubt that even happened   probably just a ploy to try and maneuver to get around the underage thing to have best chance to get the money.....You cannot make a exception and award the money in this or any other situation like this without sending the wrong message......sign up any age...or play on anyone elses account......And in this situation ever who was playing the tourney and their greed that come out in the deal making...YOU GET EXACTLY WHAT YOU DESERVE....NOTHING.   LEARN TO PLAY BY THE RULES AND THEN YOU HAVE NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT.....
