Soccer betting blog
Not sure if anybody is interested in soccer betting, but i thought that i would make a blog for it anyway, as i often read other posts on hsdb being a big poker fan, so you guys may be interested in how i get on (probably not but oh well lol!). I mainly bet on the english premier league and championship, and do a little la liga, bundesliga and serie a. I won around 25 units last year on level stakes betting, but i did not keep an official record, and that was only for the last few months of the season, so I'm hoping to post a profit over an entire season. Currently I'm up by 3.5 units, and you can see my picks in my blog in my signature.  

Wish me luck! Also post your picks too, it will be interesting to see who you all fancy for the weekend.

I wouldn't mind getting involved with this.

The only problem I have is that you call it 'soccer'.

Today's Champions League bet:

Benfica - Manchester United
 2  2.05
Manchester City - Napoli
1 1.35
Total: 2.77. (Unibet)

Very high odds on Man Utd and very low on City imo. Can't find Portugal's domestic league but I think they've only played a few games (as have Napoli) so the English sides should have an advantage. Also MU and MC have been CRUSHING domestically, although MU are playing a 'experienced' midfield instead of the younger one which has been fantastic. Can't see anything else then two wins for the Manchester based sides.

i wouldnt have man-u on a win, going to be a hard game for them, yes they have been crushing recently but its all easy games for them so far and they are away with few players rested for next week or injured and playing a older slower squad, think that game will be a draw, they might just win it but it will be close maybe end 1-0 or 1-1

iv got accumulator bet on real and city to win and man u and inter on a win or draw

seems like pretty easy money, would be very unlucky or amazed if any them lost

I was going to chuck the bayern game in there as a score draw? meh I didnt though! woul have been £3 returns £107 LOL

is a little low but think thats just because they are at home, if they were away would be more like the man u vs benfica odds
but should be an easy 3-1 win for them unless they cant be bothered and just play bad but there 1st champions league game they will be looking for a decent result to get some notice around europe

you guys are being a little greedy hoping for them all to win, even bacca only managed a draw last night but gl it might happen, i would of left ajax out tho that one could cost you

Well the odds are basically 10/1 so of course its a little hopeful, but its only a small amount of money and it defo makes the
matches a little more interesting tonight.
