I am a winning player, among the very best and I'm not just saying it. But I will put my entire live savings that pokerstars is rigged. I was a winning steadily for years, I never took out money, but one day a few month ago, I did a huge mistake. I had the nerve, to take out a major proportion of my bankroll and from that day on, no matter what I do, I lose. Now, some people will say it's variance. But I can guarantee you all, the way the cards fall in the pokerstars software, is never in a lifetime random. I have a second degree in mathematics, and if there is anything i know, it is statistics. The percentage the people suck out on me, the number of times there is flush over flush, the number of times that I'm on the wrong side of the cooler, is never in a lifetime random. Pokerstars software is designed to make as much rake as possible. Now people will say, pokerstars will never do this, they have so much to lose, so let me tell you something, no one controls them, they can do whatever they want. And if they can make more money they will do so.
Just look at fulltilt. Everybody thought lederer and ferguson have so much money, why should they cheat... So let me tell you something about the human race. Humans are pigs and they will sell their mother for the chance to earn extra bucks. I swear on everything pokerstars is rigged and although I'm up on pokerstars, i swear to god,I will not deposit an additional dollar to those crooks...

I am a winning player aswell http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/9453/catscropi.jpg and I am sure we get cheated in more ways. 1st that comes to my mind is generating more action by setting up coolers,setups etc. And the 2nd one I think a lot in the last couple of days is facing guys that make their 1st deposit and run like jesus christ. That happened everytime I see a new player,he just can't lose the 1st couple of all ins even if he is a big underdog,but later he lose it ofc,the heater doesn't last forever 
And 3rd it's true that whenever I cashout I fall in somekind of a downswing/bad run.
Btw I aggree that no1 can fully control those sites,they can find tons of ways to work crooked without getting caught.

Very funny.... Cant stop laughing. PokerStars uses a good software for shuffleling cards described below.
SHUFFLE"Anyone who considers arithmetic methods of producing random digits is, of course, in a state of sin." - John von Neumann, 1951
- user input, including summary of mouse movements and events timing, collected from client software
- Quantis [3], a true hardware random number generator developed by Swiss-based company ID Quantique, which uses quantum randomness as an entropy source
Each of these sources itself generates enough entropy to ensure a fair and unpredictable shuffle.
Shuffle Highlights:- A deck of 52 cards can be shuffled in 52! ways. 52! is about 2^225 (to be precise, 80,658,175,170,943,878,571,660,636,856,404,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000,000,000 ways). We use 249 random bits from both entropy sources (user input and quantum randomness) to achieve an even and unpredictable statistical distribution.
- Furthermore, we apply conservative rules to enforce the required degree of randomness; for instance, if user input does not generate required amount of entropy, we do not start the next hand until we obtain the required amount of entropy from the Quantis RNG.
- We use the SHA-1 cryptographic hash algorithm to mix the entropy gathered from both sources to provide an extra level of security
- We also maintain a SHA-1-based pseudo-random generator to provide even more security and protection from user data attacks
- To convert random bit stream to random numbers within a required range without bias, we use a simple and reliable algorithm. For example, if we need a random number in the range 0-25:
- we take 5 random bits and convert them to a random number 0-31
- if this number is greater than 25 we just discard all 5 bits and repeat the process
- This method is not affected by biases related to modulus operation for generation of random numbers that are not 2n, n = 1,2,..
- To perform an actual shuffle, we use another simple and reliable algorithm:
- first we draw a random card from the original deck (1 of 52) and place it in a new deck - now original deck contains 51 cards and the new deck contains 1 card
- then we draw another random card from the original deck (1 of 51) and place it on top of the new deck - now original deck contains 50 cards and the new deck contains 2 cards
- we repeat the process until all cards have moved from the original deck to the new deck
- This algorithm does not suffer from "Bad Distribution Of Shuffles" described in [2].
PokerStars shuffle verified by CigitalPokerStars submitted extensive information about the PokerStars random number generator (RNG) to Cigital. We asked this trusted resource to perform an in-depth analysis of the randomness of the output of the RNG, and its implementation in the shuffling of the cards on PokerStars.
They were given full access to the source code and confirmed the randomness and security of our shuffle.

I have to agree, i've played on stars for 4/5 years now and have done quite well but seem to be experiencing the exact same problems with the site. The software is in no way random, i play up to 15 tbls at a time everyday so see thousands of hands, and the amount of outdraws i see is laughable! i mean 1 and 2 outers, runnerunner outdaws, (not just against me but also for me and to the other players) and action flops galore.
I also seem to lose after i have withdrawn money (at least the amount i have withdrawn) no matter how i play i can't win, no lie.
I also have to agree about begginers getting luck to intice them in, it happened to me, iwon the daily 70k $55 (now the big $55), i couldn't lose and i played poor and won 13k. I see begginers getting lucky everyday...
If the cards were random the better players would win and the poor players would give up, so for longevity and the "bigger picture" of course pokerstars and other sites would sway the program towards eg %50 random and %50 whatever they want (maybe a poor example but u get the idea) to keep more people playing = more rake. No one regulates or checks the programs so they can do what they want,
It's all a bit fishy!!
i still play there (gingerslim) so i'm a sucker for punishment!! just had to vent

Why are you never on the good side of the setup hands ???? It would still even out if they were creating strong hands for bigger pots for more rake , how can u be so good at maths and only withdraw once seems kinda dim.

I think everyone who plays/played on PokerStars have had the feeling " This is for sure rigged ". Well I don't know if it's rigged or not. Some ppl come out with proof that it's not rigged while other ppl try contantly try to prove that, it's indeed rigged. We decide whether we believe it's rigged or not.
