RE: PS buying FTP

Hope they replace the PS software with FTP software. I have gotten used to PS but I remember FTP being much superior. Wont change my results but will make for a more pleasant experience.

yepp i hope they will improve their software with the ftp quality because i think ftp software was the best poker software till now. ftp software is very intuitive, and u have to click not as much as on pokerstars for many things u want to e.g. configure. just an example for intuitivity and non-intuitivity:if u play in a rebuy tourney on stars that enables u to buy an add-on after a period, u have to click explicitely on the visual chips near the dealer button, and then a window pops up, where u have many options, one of these options is the "add-on" u have to click on. I remember playing my first rebuy tourney on stars: i wanted to buy an add-on, and didnt know how to do it (i didnt know that u have to click on the chips first because if u click on chips, u generelly configure options like what deck, theme u wanna use, if u wanna see chat from observers and/or from players etc. etc. ). it was very frustrating for me because for the short time one has for doing the add-on, i couldnt find a way how to do it. it was very frustrating because my strategical plan was to use this add-on.

however, on ftp it is so intuitively because an add-on button pops up as soon as the add-on is available, and u just have to click it.

RE: PS buying FTP

So is there any news did full tilt poker get bought out by pokerstars? I have not seen any updates since deeb claimed the deal was done. I am very curious if the tapie group is still in the hunt and this is turning into a bidding war. I think its more important for poker stars to have it so they can be a monoply and have no competition in the online poker world. They can make a lot of money or lose a lot of tapie group take it. I trust poker stars more then some french investors. I hope there is some news in the future about this seems like full tilt poker is dying dog at this point.
