Hey guys, i wonder where the WSOP main event 2006 champion is and if he still plays poker. he has won by far tthe highest price money in a tourney right till now, would be sad if he does not play the wsop anymore

he plays cashgames from 3$-6$ to 5$-10$ and also played some of the wsop events this year. but he is still an idiot......

the highest wsop price money winner plays only 5/10 games??? its unbelievable.

i dont know, but a lot of people consider him as being the best tournement player. however, we still have to wait for his comeback, since his big winning i cannot remember him winning a tournement again.

he won 12 Million, had to pay taxes on it, and then split it with the guy who paid half his entry. He didn't clear 12 Million or anywhere close. He lost like 1/2 Mil on HSP shortly after.
I would hope for his sake, he put some of it away. but who knows.

Guess not much left from the few million he eventually got from his WSOP winning if he's playing these stakes. One way or the other he's a strange person, but in the end most poker players are

You do all know that Gold was überloaded prior to winning the ME right?... He owns the managing company that manages the likes of... James Gandolfini (1 Million per Soprano's episode @ 10%)... Lucy Liu, Jimmy Falon... plus is the president of Buzznation... so... the 12 Megas he won probably didn't even double his net worth. I don't think he cares that much about poker to be honest.... was probably jut a phase...
