This software programs are bad for the game. The numbers and stats this programs provide you are endless. They calculate every move you do and tell you exact % on how often you fold. How often you 3 bet and so on. So if you dont have one and your opponent does, your basically playing against a computer instead of a real person. Every player using a HUD 100% percent of the time make their decision according to what his HUD is telling him at the time. So if your opponent know you fold 85% on the river to a bet, then he will bet 100% of the time for you to fold. Basically there is a stat for everything on your opponent.

This definetly is BAD for the online game and i hope that Pokerstars and all sites ban the use of this CHEATING software. I personally do not want a machine/software calculating all of my hands and letting my opponent use it against me. Its up to everyone playing online to make their decisions based on game play instead of using software. We should all start a pettition or email pokerstars in order for them to ban the use of this CHEATING software IMO. Smile

So all you guys using it obviously are going to have a positive view on the software but in reality its definitely bad for the game. It ruineds the game. Hope the DOJ makes this a must ban condition to PokerStars if and when they return to the USA.

You seem to have a bizarre understanding of how they work. First, you need several thousand hands against a player to have a decent sample size of his stats. If you played against a guy for 100 hands, his stats are meaningless. Most low stakes rec grinders online go to a table and play for an hour or so.

Also, HUDs just give you raw data. They don't tell you what to do. You seem to either not understand that, or you are trying to intentionally mislead others who don't. Maybe you are smarter than everyone else, but most players can't convert raw data into the optimal move on every hand every street.

2500 hands is a decent sample size for opponents. If you play with a guy live for 2500 hands thats 100 hours of play. Thats almost 3 work weeks of full time play. If you sit with a guy for that long and are only playing one table, you are going to pick up on how he plays. The difference online is that you can play 2.5k hands against a guy and not even remember his s/n, so people use HUDs to calculate the raw data for them.

Iam with REYMARTZ here. They are deff bad for the games. Why would anyone want every player to bring the best of them to the tabels. You know, some players arent talented enough to pick up reads you use as an example with live poker. And if you play someone fishy or really tricky you make a note on that guy, easy. This trackers makes it easier for all the nits to play good. There is alot of scared weak boyz playing MSNL tnx to this software, that wouldent have a chance if they suddenly was on their own. Many players wouldent be abel to do this correct ev+ calls REYMARTZ use as an example with you fold 80% here and there. But with help from trackers and a litte math knowledge a new improve nit/bad player has appeard.

The raw data is basically every stat your opponent needs to make a decision. Its data thats not of anyones business to know. If you want raw data while playing someone take notes on a sheet of paper yourself instead of having software do it for you. You dont have software helping you playing live so why online? I just want an even playing field for me and everyone instead of using software. In the end it will make the game better for everyone, which in return will give everyone a comfortable feeling playing online.

He is just asking some valid questions. And tbh, I'd like to know your answers as well. In general I agree that it would be much better if there were no HUDs at all. But they don't, they fkin don't make a player become Jungleman, if they are clueless otherwise.

I personally dont use one because for 1 i dont like all those numbers clogging up my beautifull screen, and secondly i dont like looking at all those numbers becuase it might give me a headache. Lastly i am confident in my game that i dont need one. + i want an even playing field for everyone because it will make the online game better for everyone knowing that software is not calcullating your every move. I would feel confortable myself knowing that the people im playing with arent betting and re raising me just cause they have all this stats on me. IT RUINEDS THE WAY THE GAME IS SUPPOSED TO BE PLAYED. Instead of playing the person your playing the person and the help of the software. again, It messes up the way the game supposed to be played because people are betting or folding against you when in reality (without the software) they might have folded or just called. It takes the normal nature and pureness away from the game.
