I know your all probably sick of people talking about it by now, but was just curious if anyone knew if poker stars buying FTP means they are just buying the name and customers essentially, and only the poker stars client will be running? or will they be run separately as in the poker stars client and the old full tilt client running separately?

yeah thats what I kind of figured, just there seems like there is a few things that by running full tilt software that even as the new owners could sort of discredit the popularity of the poker stars client compared to the full tilt software, and game selection and everything. especially in the high stakes areas.

Yea pokerstars wants to buy a ponzi scheme.
Gambling 911 has been in bed with FT since BF. Every big event reguarding FT after BF that G911 has put out were schemes to convince people to give them more time/hope.

Full Tilt was a ponzi scheme.. They clearly overpaid themselves, they paid for advertisements and tv shows as much as they possibly could and loaned broke players millions for fun to keep the games huge with fish..
That's why none of the rich pros kept money on the site, they knew the general scheme was to keep the advertisements big and keep growing the player base too constantly have new money to keep they're scheme going until the DOJ comes in..
The owners Bitar, Lederer, and Ferguson just to name a few were very aware of the financial situation and were laundering millions of dollars overseas, while the rest of the high up sponsored or part owners such as Ivey, Antonius, Dwan etc were very informed to not keep large amounts of money on the site, as none of them had money on the site when it was shut down.. This is why they were ready they knew it was going to happen eventually and Ferguson ran overseas with no Extradition..
