the biggest game is 5/10 NL, PL and 30/60 in FL. at stars are 200k players at the peak and at party 20k. i would say at stars are more fish but the micro and low stakes are also very soft at party. no big difference

Is Party more profitable compared to Stars? Well, there's no real rakeback if I remember it correctly, but that's not a problem because they give all sorts of bonuses all the time. As long as you take advantage of their promotions and bonuses, you're fine I guess. Their new promotion is decent for example, I just checked it out. They give you no deposit bonuses sometimes on top of that, and that's rare these days. I had my biggest cash there (in the 300k guaranteed when I was way too young), so I have a feeling I'm biased. A good rule would be to only play when you have an active bonus there.
I've mostly played micro stakes and MTT's on Party. My experience, although it's limited, is that there are more fish in micro stakes NLH on Party compared to Stars, they play looser for some reason - a lot of station+LAG players. Stars players are tighter in general in micro stakes. The previous poster makes a good point, the difference is small if there is one.
Low buyin MTT's are soft as usual. I've played some 50 NLH heads up there too, those "regs" are the same as on Stars, beatable but tough. Still I don't think I've played enough to acquire the sample size to make an accurate description regarding the quality of the players (I'm not a reg there).

Party Poker review Intro After Full Tilt Poker shut down, I moved to Party! I never liked Stars, graphics was to poor to me comparing to FTP (now things changed) so I decided to open account on some other site and my first choice was - Party poker!Graphics was even worse comparing to stars, player on move was marked with light reflector ( now that's changed), everything was funny, but I thought there could be some fish so I gave Party a chance... I was ( still do) playing micro stakes like 0,1 0,25/ 0,25 0,50 or 0,5 1 (from lower 2 4 maximum) and mainly PLO, often PLO HU. I like PLO and Hi-lo MTTs also...After Party removed "high stakes" tables ( 10 25 and 25 50, I speak about PLO mostly), I don't see players that used to play on these stakes any more on Party....Jeans was playing almost every day on Party just several months ago.... SW Softwear...It's nothing like stars... Updates are more often, there are always some kind of problems...For instance, month ago my picture just vanished.... When I tried to put another pic, I was aproved via mail, but that pic wasn't applied to my profile.... Week ago, previous pic was attached to my nick and what really happened - no one knows...Seems to me like extra time does not work sometimes - it just happens time out and your hand is folded..."Fold opponent's bet" checkmark box apperas only when it's your turn ( that works only when players on move after u raise), and the most insteresting thing - previous hand is disaster! It wasn't working for me cca 2 moths at all ( I was adviced to do some things on IE, but as I use Chrome, I didn't want to deal with it), and 2 weeks ago it started to work, but with some problems as there is drop down menu for tables u r playing now or have been playing recently). If u exclude all these bad things, it is not SO bad... ( don't know whether to write "lol" or not....) Bonuses, deposits and promotions Bonuses - lol....I made deposit 4 weeks ago and wrote down promo code to get 100% bonus, but it just didn't activate...I was reminded 2 days after via mail to deposit as I still have 3 more days to use it.Nice.... I didn't care much....There are some bonuses if u play often, u can get "extra deposit bonus" for reward. Deposits are sometimes "strange" as I was not allowed to deposit > 25$ ( minimum is also 25$, while on FTP minimum = 10$) with my MasterCard. I had more money on it, and I know that there r NO restrictions for that kind of card i.e. my Issuer's bank regarding limits for my particular transaction... I am positive...When I tried to deposit 50$ I was rejected, again 25$ - txn was approved.... What can I say....? Promotions...Weakly/monthly SNG /MTT laederboard + Bankroll booster which is participation in weekly 5K$ freeroll for all players that made deposit that week ( something like that). Booster is the biggest standard promotion.Although, there may occur some really good promotions like "conquer the world" where I got 2,3K $ last year and it was great indeed. There was good promotion "event fest" where Party organised cca 60 events ( tournaments) in 2 weeks and it was chance to win some significant cash via tournaments ( not like micro millions from stars, but....).There is also Spring/Summer/Autumn/Winter Million Tournament, and similar tournament is held on stars once a week... Players As I don't play on stars - I can't compare it to PS. But, players are not bad.Just 2 years ago - that was not the case, and what was 4 years ago - I can only imagine....I think everywhere is tough competition now, as good players became regs on all sites like this one waiting for new players (fish) that can afford losses as they have money and play just for fun or try to hit jackpot climbing high in stakes without any BRM and at one moment they get crushed by regs. It's more or less same as FTP, and as I play only freerols on stars - freerolls on Party r much harder as there are plenty of eastern europe players there, if u know what am I talking about.....If the things for real $ MTTs are similar, PP isn't easy place where u can earn money from tournaments...I think same thing could be true for cash games... ( 5 10 maximum for PLO e.g.)Maybe I am not the right person for this part, but I told my opinion. Extra If u plan to become new player on Party, my advice is to sign up via Poker strategy and to pass their poker quiz. That way you get 50$ starting deposit on Party without making deposit and when signing with their promo code on Party, you get entrance to their freerolls: twice a day 100$, weekly 2,25 K $ and montly or similar 10K depositors' freeroll... Better than nothing.... This is not advertisment.Ofc there is 100% bonus for 1st deposit up to 600$ as almost everywhere else ( have in mind promo code). As everywhere, we have "Party" points here. You can exchange them for money, bonuses, clothes, gadgets etc.... There is no rakeback, only for Platinum players I think - which might be hard to achieve for ordinary player. If you play PLO MTTs, there is is daily 10+R , 30+3 and hi-lo 20+2 and weekly hi-lo 100+16 ( cca 20 players). There are ofc Hold'em MTTs guarantee tournaments also, for instance for 99$ daily , I think 30K guaranteed ( from MON to FRI) and there is 200K guaranteed on SUN for 216$ entry ( 1st place cca 56K $). There are surely things that I forgot to mention, but - some other time...

For running up $200 I'd suggest somewhere with a decent rakeback deal (or the rake will be difficult to overcome) and a deposit bonus. as a winning player (or even a slightly losing player) you should make money off these bonuses alone. Where you play doesn't matter so much.
There'll be action at the stakes you'd be playing.
