how to build a bankroll the right way?
Hello,
I have a question, not an answer.
I'm going to deposit $ 100 in the near future.
I can make a sustainable profit in the 1.5$ hyper-turbo hu sngs. With an ROI of at least 5% pre rackback. (sample 1k games roi >5%) quit poker becaus of internship, back to school in a few weeks.
1) How do I build a bankroll?
2) I hear people talk about bulding a bankroll with sngs, do they mean hu, stt, etc....
3) I am also curious about the rakeback on full tilt (at stars with my VIP level, you almost zero rackback and you pay 4%)
4) should i play hu hyper turbo's becaus i can make a sustainable profit and grind it up form there?

If you have a clue about hyper turbo hu sng you should get some infos about the normal hu sngs because u can get at the 1.5$ way more ROI than 5% if you play just standard poker period.

you can build a roll playing any type of game as long as you do it the right wayalthough i wouldn't try and "build" a bankroll playing any tournament that has over 10 players because the swings are too high.. once you have build a roll you can determine if you're someone who should be playing the 18 person, 45 person and MTT games
most players find a consistent way to build a bankroll is from playing double or nothing
considering you are a proven winner at the lowstake HU hyper turbos i would probably just stick to them
although the one thing that i would do if i were you would be to stop playing on stars or fulltilt, because the lowstake players do not get nearly a high enough rakeback %
playing on a smaller site that offers good rakeback would be a good way to use your $100 deposit,
you should probably use a 50-75 buyin bankroll management while playing the lowstake HU sngs, and then probably a 100-200 buyin bankroll management once you get up to the higher stake HU sngs
but the one thing i emphasize on is that you should find a site that offers good rakeback, private message me if you have any questions

Deposit $1000 instead of $100. If you want to build a bankroll from 100, it will take a lot longer. If you're a sustainable winning player, front up the extra cash. It's definitely worth it.

some ppl dont have the money to deposit $1000 like myself . im still pretty sure u could build a decent BR by only depositing $50 or $100 if u have the time and patience along with good BR management and tilt control of which i lack severely eg. got my BR up to $250ish and started playing fixed limit omaha hilo $8/$16 and got murdered

Its a waste of time, you can make 10x more money working a min wage job. you need to deposit $500 and play .50/$1 min to avoid the rake rip off and make it worth the effort. You wont find much good action there either cause everyone bum hunting and online is largely populated with decent players.
The best place to start, if your serious and not just trying to get a lucky rush, is a casino $200 buy in 3/5 or $300-$500 5/5 game.. if you cant afford it then finding a job is a better goal.
