Hello HSDB community!

We're glad to announce that we've partnered up with HSDB and part of our deal is that we're having our own forum.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me.

You can email me: support@bestpokercoaching.com

You can visit our site: BestPokerCoaching

You can ask me here!

The short version:

We're poker enthusiast. We all love the game. Bestpokercoaching.com teaches a positive mindset. So if you're somebody who wants to get better at poker and got questions, I'm personally here to help you.
You can be critical, i'm not an uptight person. I love honest people. As long as your questions are constructive, you will be helped.

We've created different threads for different programs. There is something for each level - whether you just started to play or whether you're a seasoned pro!

Looking to have a great time and Welcome!

The long version (with some FAQ):
  • We answer all serious questions and are there to make your experience a great one
  • We're new to HSDB, so if you want to see feedback from different sources, check them out here:

1) BestPokerCoaching Homepage

2) 2p2 Coaching Thread ( ~ 18months running)

3) Pokerstragy.com Verified Coach. Top Rated Videos. Read Comments
  • If you have any questions about the courses and/or the coaching, please let me know! We have opened individual threads for different courses.

  • I am open about criticism. It's in my own interest, because by giving me critical feedback, you help me to improve. Look, my coaching thread on 2p2 contains some criticism. My record of successful students speaks for itself. But, i'm a human, and nobody is perfect.

  • If i **** up somehwere, i'm the first to admit and will fix it.

You can look on both pokerstrategy or 2p2 what the overwhelming majority of players like yourself have to say about me.

Anyways, if you're serious and not trolling, i'll take my time to answer any question you have.

  • About Censorship in this Sub-Forum (not for HSDB, only this sub-forum):

I love the freedom the internet brings.

But, if you have a car business, you're not gonna let a competitor or hater put up a sign (in your own shop) saying that your cars smell bad or that you don't like how the cars are marketed. Especially if the accusations are false.

You are however free to post your opinion on your own blog or - if HSDB permits - in the main HSDB forum. And, you can say whatever you want. That is your freedom.

If you don't like a restaurant, don't eat there. Haters are like people who keep going into the same restaurant and say they don't like the decoration.

Ok, anyways, i hope this post clears up a lot of things. I'm looking forward to this great partnership.

I'm thrilled to make you rich,

Gordon

Are there any money back guarantees?

There is no guarantee. But...

...there are homework assignments in the course. If a student does all the homework (easy, about 30minutes max daily) and still struggles, he will get his money back. Because that means that he has tried hard, done everything i said, and still not succeeded.

There is not one single student who has done all the homework and who was not successful. Some students don't need to do all the homework, it works fine without.

It is called "holdem manager". This software display statistics from your opponent. You get these statistics by having played against these opponents or by buying hands.

I took a quick look at your site.

You say that the player should be playing about 2k hands per day. For me that is difficult as I work outside of poker and I am not good enough to play more than 2 tables ( 2000/2*100=~10 Hours). Since like 95% of others I am not good enough at poker.

So my question is will the course ( 6 max ) be of any benefit to me? Is it for the semi pro or casual player or both?

Hi,

good questions, let me answer step by step

1) Playing enough hands:

Short version: If you play 10 tables, and 100 hands per hour, 2k hands means 2hours a day. I think that's doable for everybody. Many pros play way more than that.

Long Version: All players have different preferences and in the end it depends what you "really" want. Do you want to give poker a real shot or do you like to keep it as a nice hobby? Both are fine options, but you gotta know what you want. How important is it to you, what are you willing to give up in the short term?

I had my first own computer when i was 18 years old. I bought it with my own hard earned money. I am NOT a born gamer, nor played PC games when younger. I managed to play 30 tables SNGs at the same time, roughly 16 6max cash tables or up to 8 HU tables. If i can do it, everybody can. And my multitabling abilities are not impressive at all. Most people will be able to do better with some practise.

2) Which course is best for you:

If you want to play poker for fun here and there, that's cool. But in that case, you should not get my 6max course. It will improve your game for sure. But you're also not buying a Porsche just to drive half hour a week.

I got many emails from players who were just starting with poker or whose bankroll wasn't ready.
For this reason, we offer "Heads up for Newbies" .

HUSNGs are still a niche filled with tons of terrible players (lets see for how longWink. You can play at your own pace and see in one month for less than 1 Euro/day how our stuff works.
Once you see results, you can move up step by step. We have programs for every level and price category.

Ok, I think I will give one of the courses a shot. I will select one just before my next work break/ vacation in a few weeks time. I would not have the spare time or concentration until then.

If your winrate increases, the swings automatically go down. So improving your game is the best thing you can do in order to reduce swings.

Running good and bad? I wish i could say my students never run bad, but the truth is they run as good/bad as everybdoy else.

BUT: Since they play better and KNOW / LEARN how to deal with it, they do better than before
