No I don't my tone was aggressive and yes I still think it was a dumb question.

The pro's always look for an edge. It's what makes them succesful in their job. A lot of players back other players in live tournaments (erick lindgren backed Greg mueller this WSOP and Cliff 'JohnnyBax' Josephy backed Annette Obrestad in the WSOPE which she won).

However Full Tilt can not back players to play cash games on their site (conflict of interest). It's the same reason that on most site the staff is not allowed to play on their own site. Team Full Tilt and the full tilt pro's get an X amount of money for live tournaments and an amount of money for every hour they play online.

It's not that they pay Allen Cunningham 100K to play 200/400PLO online and take a share of their loss or profits.

Hey Cardplayer and the gentleman who said the poster was a moron...I don't agree with your brutal remarks. It is possible that FTP is partners with some of the pros. I don't know why you think that there is only one option...that it's 100% "the players" money. Pros back on other pros...players on the way up back each other or take a piece. It seems to make a lot of business sense to back the winning players. Winning players run good and bad also and maybe they don't want the huge swings. It makes sense for FTP to back some winners. By the way Cardplayer and others maybe you can answer this: Why is it necessary for you to get so aggressive in your answer? I think you have to take a look and see why your response is really very simple. You are only looking at what's obvious. You think these guys aren't always looking for an edge?

The normal red pro's (don't know if the cardrunner pro's have a different contract) get 100% rakeback and $ 46 an hour they play at the site.

People like Ivey however are actually part shareholder and get their share of the profits (rumour is it that Ivey get's 900K a month but I doubt it). You can easily assume that Lederer and and Ferguson make the most since they started Full Tilt.

Far from everyone can reload to infiniity on highstakes and alot of people have gone bust. Especially young and "unknown" peoples have busted.

Many of the live tourney players are close to busto and many players have gambling problems. The famous names make money from their name so they are "safe".

I think the size of everyones br is highly overestimated.

If memory serves the red pros get the 100% rakeback and $35 per hour to play.

Team Full Tilt members get whatever deal they've negotiated with the site - I know the Hendon Mob get a fairly hefty wedge too. Then Ferguson and Lederer get a shedload as they helped develop the site.

They are all rich and I am poor. I really should try to get better at poker :crying:

The First question is kinda, non good..

And I can feel CardPlayers frustration, I bet he Megatilted when he wrote it, and lost 66% of his roll taking shot at 500- 1K vs Ivey..

If a Pro busts, he: A) realises the games are changing and go play live..

B) was running superbad and get some stake.

C) Redeposits cuz he wasnt a fking tard who kept all his money online so he could tilt it away.

D) all the above, or something else,

FTP pros ( the Players named in red, but not a partner like Ivey, Antonius etc) like Townsend, gets 100% Rakeback and some dollars pr hour, I dont remember how many $ pr h, but it was something like 20 dollar or w/e.

The Full Tilt pro's (like Brandon Adams, or Chip Jett for example) get 100% rakeback and an x amount to buy into live tournaments.

Team Full Tilt (with the likes of Ivey, Matusow, Lederer etc.) also get a share of the profits of the site which can run into hundreds of thousands a year (if not more).

Now please contribute something to this forum and quite making posts with retarded questions.

Question: What is the financial arrangement between a pro player and FTP? How does it differ between different pros like: Ivey, Hansen, Dwan. Do they just play on the site? Does the site back the pros in any way, shape or form? It would make sense for the site to give them a credit line for a piec of the action. Don't know if anyone outside of a n elite circle would have this information or care to share it.

OK. I get it. These guys are huge players. I have a few questions. Is it all their money or does the website kick in a piece?...or are they partners with the site? What happens if they run bad and tap out? Then what? They start all over from $1-2 PLO Omaha or get someone to back them. Seems like the money they're playing is a little unreal.
