Hi all i've been playing very poor past few weeks losing alot and the beats i took kind of hurt the Bankroll a little so going to to back and grind low stakes for few weeks read over my stats see where i'am going wrong i'll post a few hands keep u guys up to date any comments or see me playing like a fish please let me know :) here 1 hand i played out today

I am back playing poker...played yesterday some SNGs...I hate them coz my super aggressive style always put me difficult spots...won 1 sng and was up for the session in sngs.But I am starting the real thing soon...small deposit and build up a decent roll and then cash out :-)...watch this space...I currently playing 3$-6$ but expect moving to 5$-10$ over the weekend and towards the end of next week $20-$40...and if I am running really hot...$100-$200 and $200-$400.

last time that happened in 2 hours...started playing $3-$6 at 10pm and by 12 I was up 2k.not bad :-)

and I will avoid NL for this session...again lost a massive roll on $200-$400.but that is poker.Playing limit, 7 stud hi and Omaha 1.

Tourn not my thing anymore, done well at UB won a few tourn but I am s hit these days...six handed is my game...

wish me luck...I will keep you posted...when I start hitting the $100-$200 and $200-$400, I will need your support...

My tactic??? Take advantage of variance :-)

So, here is my attempt at a poker blog. I am currently playing on the prima network under the nick of stevieval. I play 0.50/1 NL holdem, usually playing 5 tables, although I have been playing 6 recently. I started taking an interest in poker when the WPT series was first shown on TV. I was working in a hotel in Brighton, England at the time, but didnt have a computer, so never really got around to playing. It was June 2005 before I first played internet poker, in an internet cafe. I had no real experience of serious live play, so it was all completely new to me. I started on Ladbrokes, playing 0.25/0.50 NL holdem.

My first deposit was £50 ($100), and it wasnt too long before I had lost that, and a few more deposits too. Chasing with flush and str8 draws just seemed the right thing to do at the time :cool: It wasn't long though before I started winning. The standard of the average player then was alot lower than it is now. By August/September time I was working my shifts at the hotel, then going into the internet cafe to play 6-8 hours of poker. The cafe stayed open Friday and Saturday nights, and soon 6-8 hour poker sessions were becoming 12-16 hour sessions. By October I withdrew some money to buy a 2nd hand computer. This gave me even more time to play.

In January I bought a new laptop, a computer that could access a webpage withing 10 minutes, unlike my first one. I then discovered rakeback and moved to the prima network. It wasn't long after that, I discovered I could earn more playing poker, than I was earning working. In March 2006, I took the decision to "give it a go", and went part time at my job, working just 2 shifts a week. The pay I got from this was enough to pay my rent.

My total bankroll at that time was about $8000. Even by playing only 4 tables of 0.50/1NL, I noticed how much more money I had. I was playing alot of hours, but after some good tourney cashes in May, and a total bankroll of about $15000, I felt I had enough to go full time, and became a full time poker player in June 2006.

In October 2006, I moved to Spain, where my parents were living. I am renting a 2 bedroom villa opposite a golf course about 10 minutes from Torrevieja. I have an 11 month lease, but can extend or find somewhere else if I wish. I still play 0.50/1 mostly, and still on prima, although I have had several spells of playing 1/2. I find it far easier to win at 0.50/1 than I do at 1/2. I am a tight player, and this tends to get recongnised at 1/2 far more quckly than it does at 0.50/1, so I play looser at 1/2, and lose :( I have been running well at 0.50/1 recently, after my worst spell since starting in February, and will be back at 1/2 to lose some more soon ;)

I am a keen user of pokertracker, and update every hand I play. I will post the more interesting hands here. In my spare time I enjoy playing golf (only started playing when I moved to Spain, so Im not very good), and sunbathing, either by the pool or at the beach which is only 5 minutes away.

well lets see im 21 years old from ohio in the united states and next week im gonna buy into full tilt for around 450 dollars and im gonna try and grind my way up the stakes starting at .05-.10 cent. I am going to try and really control my urge to play higher stakes. I want to have at least around 35-45 buy ins before i move up to the next level. i will be putting in tons of hours to start and try to update this blog everyday with how well or how not so good i did on the day. Along with some of the bigger pots i played for the day although at first the pots wont be to big in 5 cent 10 cent lol. i figure ill be playing 25nl by the end of the month. so lets hope that happens. My game of choice is short handed nl holdem. my name on fulltilt will be i_own_u_4ever. and hopefully ill be crushing some bigger games in the next few months.

Okay let's try some kind of entry...
so Im grinder and railer of course too, when games are dead now in tilt i have to play.;)

I play mostly HU and shorthanded micro/low games, English isnt my first language so don't get confused about my spelling. I usually don't use any poker program s I write intresting hand histories myself.(I dont want to tell my nick/site I play.)

Today I played two little HU matches, destroying both villains.
Other guy i had played alot, other was new guy for me.
Intresting hands:
I was Sb with 218
Villain was bb with 189
I had ThQh and raised to 3$(blinds 0.5/1)
Villain raiseid to 10$, I called cause he is very agressive.
Flop was the dream come true Qd Tc 4d, Villain bet 15$, I raised quickly to 40$.
He took he's time, and then he came over the top ALL-IN!
I called instantly.
He Had Td 8d so he had good draw.
Turn was Qc so i won the pot.
After that i was up something like 250$ and he left.
We had have one big coinflip(AKs vs. QQ) and one flush vs. top 2 pairs, i won both so thats why we had so big stacks.

Then I Played few amazing hands against villain I have played a lot and know well:
Villain was sb with 123$
I was BB with 119$
He raised to 3 and i called with Kc9h
flop was TcJc6s
I bet 4 $to that, he raised to 13$ and i called thinking about taking the pot on turn.
Turn was 6h, I checked, He bet 25$, I took long time(used time bank) and after it i decited to call, cause i read him to monser draw, (Qc9c, 9c8c, Qc8c, 9c7c) all of those were possible cause he very well could raise with them preflop.
River was Ah so draws did'nt make it (except KQ), I checked and he went allin quickly. Now i had decicion to make, normally it would be fold but I know that guy pretty well and i had feeling him having missed draw.
Pot was 82$ and had to call 78$. I made my decicion and called. He showed Qc8c and i took big pot with K high.
He went to tilt and reloaded to full stack, last hand he went allin 70$ with TsJs, my QcQh was good, so this day up about 480$, great feeling.

Week 1.+480 Day 1. +480
Bankroll=3311$

played a few thousand hands since my last post and its had a mixture of results. I have lost a four 25 or so dollar pots with aces all in pre flop which sucks but thats poker ill get over it. i am now averaging 7 dollars an hour playing 5 cent 10 cent which is still pretty good. the bankroll is at 155 and also have made 25 dollars rakeback so its at 180 if you look at the total and its time to hit the tables now. have a good one guys

This site is quite new, but has great ring game - with upwards to $15/25 played around midnight est. Good investment possibility also as they are selling shares until the end of December. It can only grow - a nice site to get in on the action early.:D

Nu kommer den här informationen man bara behöver skriva en gång hoppas jag... Lars Eriksson heter jag, 23 år och bor i Östersund med min sambo. Arbetslös med ett extrajobb på en bilfirma på it-avdelningen som tar slut efter den här veckan. Kommer alltså börja spela mer efter den här veckan. Hoppar fallskärm, spelar tennis och bordtennis när lusten faller på.

Spelat poker på nätet av och till i ca 2-3år och spelat mer det senaste året. Är en väldigt dålig förlorare som inte är någon bra egenskap har jag märkt i poker men det är ofta en vanesak att förlora och vant mig på $0.5/$1 men känns fortfarande på $1/$2 om det går illa.

Spelar för närvarande No Limit Hold Em på $0.5/$1 och försöker gå upp på $1/$2 vilket vart väldigt motigt. Ligger back ca $3000 på $1/$2 medan jag plussar på $0.5/$1. Målet för i år är att komma upp och plussa stadigt på $1/$2 och skotta på $2/$4 och $3/$6.

Satsar på att ha en rulle på $40 000 innan 2007 är slut. Plussade totalt $12 000 under 2006 men har då tagit ut från rullen vilket jag nu inte kommer göra.

Spelar för närvarande på Prima och precis börjat på Ladbrokes. Tanken med dagboken är att för att hålla uppe motivationen för att spela mycket samt att få feedback på spelet och sina psykologiska besvär efter sessionerna :)
