I've been playing online poker for a bit, but i only ever deposited $100 at a time. As you all know, $100 is NOT a lot in the world of online poker, so i'd eventually lose it all on one hand. Well, I'm finally ready to make a big deposit, just wondering how much do you all think I should put in, starting at low limits .25/.50 or .50/$1. I could probably go as high as $1000.
Also what US friendly site has the best sign on bonus? I'm looking to get the most for my money.
Any advice you'd want to give me about playing is also appreciated.

| this post is old, so im sure you have already deposited, but i would stick to 20 x max buy in as a rule of thumb to follow. at least for NL. ex. $500 - play 25nl $1k - play 50nl

this post is old, so im sure you have already deposited, but i would stick to 20 x max buy in as a rule of thumb to follow. at least for NL. ex. $500 - play 25nl $1k - play 50nl I have always sticked to 30 x buyin rule and it feels pretty good but when i'm playing like 7-8 tables it feels much more secure with atleast 50x buyin because if you are running bad or a little bit tilted it could cost you alot
