I've been playing poker a lot lately on many sites but I always seem play good up intull a certain point where I make small mistakes to play certain starting hands.

Can anyone tell me site or give me tips to find a list of good starting hands to keep me from calling raises or not reraising when I should...

Thx on beforehand.

It's very hard to set a standard which hands you should use preflop, this depends so much how the opponents play, your positions and alot of other things.

But pocket pairs, suited aces, suited connectors is always nice

your range of hands really depends on what position you are in.  obviously being on the button you can play a wider range of hands (of course opening).  sb and bb you only want to play really premium hands.  for instance, you have AJo in sb or bb and someone in front opens.  I would fold this most of the time. first, your position sucks and second, say you flop an ace, you will find yourself in trouble with that jack kicker most of the time.  that example should give you an idea of what i mean by premium hands.

I would really suggest ed millers video's called poker made simple.   he explains your range for different positions very clear.  he also talks about this in his books.

You're right Teddy, the ace didn't help.

Have actually one book with Miller, the Small Stakes Hold´em and I think that was the one with just fixed games and i really hate that.

Maybe should try that video instead
