I've played alot of Omaha PL lately on 0.10/.20 and 0.25/0.50 6 seated.

I've had some huge swings and i always start to double up and maybe tripple up, but after a while a really big hand comes and i always lose to a badbeat.

my question is. which hands dould u play in omaha pl 6 seat. does position make that much difference as it does in Holdem?

At these low stakes everyone is a calling-machine and how do i protect a hand vs so many idiots?

Should i but preflop or just call to reduce the risks?

Omaha is really funny and there are so many donkeys there. I see a great potential taking the money from them, but which way to go?

Maybe you should try the CAP limit tables - you can slowly build your stack, and if you run into a bad beat, your losses are minimized to the CAP. So you won't lose your entire stack to a luckbox

Let me know how it works out for you!

I've played at Prima and Expekt and they don't have any CAP tables. I guess that Full tilt is the only one?

I'm soon gonna put in a bankroll there so I will try the CAP if they exist on such low tables.  Thanks for your advice! I'll let u know how it goes.

At those limits, pf raises are pretty useless, cause almost everytime half of the players call before flop. Important thing is how do you play after flop.

PLO100> are different cause of the pf calls. PLO200< people think so much more and they really respect your raises.

Its so hard to teach PLO and do some hand range. But I think main thing is position. When im at the button or one seat before that, I like to raise almost every hand. Not pot size pets always but something. Other side of coin is that dont defend your BB so often with some crappy KJ93 rainbow -hands.

You have probably notice that AAxx -hands are usually main reason how somebody goes broke on PLO. Nice pf pot raise and even if the flop is QT4 with two spades, people shove with AAxx(no spades) and other guy calls with two pairs.

I have played PLO about 2 years and it is game for me. I usually play PLO200-400 but last autumn I was playing as high as I get in those hsdb lists PLO5K-PLO10K was my range. That was pretty sick season and soon as I won over 10k in 5 days, I lost 6k-7k is nest day. So its all about swings and thats why u have to have good size bankroll to go in higher tables.

thanks for the advice. What about CAP-tables? Good idea?
PLO200-400 means $2/4 PLO cash game?

PLO 1$/2$ = PLO200 & PLO 2$/$4 = PLO400.

Well CAP tables isnt so much different thing, maybe there are more gambling spirit going on then on normal tables? I dont play cap-tables so hard to say.

yeah more gambling at the normal tables. But i prefer winning in matter of skills and losing in matter of lack of skills. so maybe cap is my thing, but i really need to try it first. HE is so damn booring that's why i prefer PLO. What range of hands are prefered to be played? only double suited? connectors?high cards? pockets?
so hard to know for sure. i dont really have had loads of practice and i havent studied any theory in omaha.
