| A while ago someone managed to hack the party account of a friend of mine. Having gained access, they uset moneybookers to deposit 10 bucks. My friend had never used anything but creditcards to make deposits. 10 mins after the deposit the hacker cashed out everyting on the account, using moneybookers (luckily it was just 1100-1200 dollars). My friend found out about this and contacted Party Poker. They told him that they would look into it, and that if his story was correct, they would pay him back what was stolen from him. Long story short, Party Poker tracked the cashout to a ip in Germany, were my friend have never been, they apologized for my friends loss, but declined to pay him back. He was not allowed to talk to the superwisor at Party Poker that promised him his money back, and they gave him 100 bucks to cover his phonebills. He had called them 6-7 times from Norway to make them solve the matter. Party Poker cashed out my friends bankroll to someone, not knowing who they are. I might add that my fried had been playing a lot of hand over 3-4 years at Party Poker. For a while he played medium to high stakes games, and he has provided Party Poker with tousands of dollars in rake. When they make this mistake, they deny liability. I have moved my bankroll away from Party Poker, and I suggest that everyone else reading this do the same. They can not be trusted. 1100 dollars for them is nothing, they should be paing my friend back his money, and add 10k to make him keep his mouth shut about their security problems, but they gave him 100 dollars.

Boo shame on you party poker this sounds a disgrace in my view and think your friend should take the matter futher. Keep us informed on how he gets on pls.....

He has given up getting the money back. He tried for a month or so, but they wouldnt give him any, and the phonebills were getting high, so he let it go. Havent played there after, but I guess that goes without saying. Just letting u know, so u can play elsewere. There are lots of sites who take responibility when there is foul play, so no need to risk ur money playing at Party Poker.

Ok thanks for the update i think you should stick to playing the big 2 sites they might have a bit more respect for thier players. Still think you should write a letter and send it to the highest person at party poker as from what you've said its entirley there fault and you save on the phone bills aswell. I used to play there but soon found they offered a poor service. Anywany good luck at the tables where ever you may be playing...

| I don't think Party can pay this guy. He simply lost his password and someone withdrawed the money, u all must realize what will happen if party starts to pay these guys.

| I don't work at party and I agree they should have better security. But if this happened to me I would never claim it is partys fault. It is not their fault.

Well they paid someone who didnt own the account in an other country my friends money. The cashout was using moneybookers, which my friend have never used, 10 mins after a 10 dollar deposit using moneybookers into an account with between 1100 and 1200 dollars. You would think that it might ring a bell
