| You do realize that accounts have been hacked on almost every mayor site? Players on PokerStars (friend of mine lost 80K there) Full Tilt (one of 50/100 regulars lost over 100K) UB, Prima have all lost money due to hacked accounts and Party is no exception.

You might be right, but I have never heard about any site that pays out money to someone that not own the account. That should not be possible even if you got someone elses password.

I understand your friend's situation, and man, that's gotta sting - but to be frank, PartyPoker cannot be held responsible for your friend's lack of internet safety. After all, the hacker got in through your friend's computer, not through PartyPoker itself. I don't mean to scold on your friend, but I honestly think the fault is his. Anyway, I hope it all works out for him.

Let that be a lesson for you boys and girls. Someone can hack into your accounts and cash out your bankroll, without the sites doing anything to get your money back. Do not use passwords that are easy to figure out for others.
