I agree. Haven't seen him playing any NLHE for a while. But HORSE and Omaha Hi/Lo and Hi he totally dominates.

P. Antonius said year and a half ago that DB is best overall cashgame player. Even though he was allready "done" in online world (cause of losing) he has done awasome work lately.

Like OP said, Holdem isnt so great but HORSE & Omaha-games are running wild. He lost pretty much against HOSS in Limit Holdem, but who wouldnt (ok, maybe PA)?

PLO tables are running wild almost 24/7, but we need more NLHE action also to say who is best. HORSE-games are intresting to watch also. Lately there has been lots of that too.

I rail David's game regulrly and I believe he is the best Omaha 8's, PLO, and Horse Player I've seen. He also is good limit he and nhle player but I think online he gets bored and pushes nhle too much. He also has the ability to play numerous tables and still play well but imagine if he focused on one or two tables he would even play better. Overall David is the my hero.

I also rail for DB...I does have a NL problem. He does push it too much and most of the times he is behind. But his Horse and Omaha hi is just amazing.and Mixes the game so much.good to see a 1.8m run lol.and apparently he is 1 of the big winners in the Big Game.

If you started this topic on 2 + 2 you got flamed so hard by the online players. Stinger, CTS and Durrr all welcome DB with open arms at the NLH tables. He should really stick to PLO which is his best game by far, but calling him the besst online cash player....... not even close.

DB was the biggest winner of 2006 in the Big Game in the Bellagio (he acknowledged this himself) but he lost an incredible amount in 2007. Also when he wasn't a Full Tilt pro yet he played under more than 5 aliases (Looselots, MagicPitch and others). He lost close to 3 million before he became a FT pro.

He has more experience in HORSE than most of the online players but it will only be a matter of time before they catch up with him. Also Barry Greenstein said that one of the main reasons Patrick loses online is that he plays 4 or 5 different types of games at the same time.

Best players in NLH:

Durrrr, URindanger, Trex313, Pyrriniad, LarsLuzak, Patrick Antonius, Bryan Townsend and Bengt Sonnert.

PLO: Patrick Antonius, Rafi Amit, Mikko Pispala, Illari Sahamies (when sober), Jani Vilmunen and David Benyamine.

HORSE: Phil Ivey and David Oppenheim are probably the only ones who are better at the moment. Matusow is in the top when it comes to omaha hi/lo but is horrible at Stud.

Limit hold em: TheBryce and Hoss_TBF are by far the best in HU. Also Joe Cassidy, Allesandro Dalaklis (TexasLimitKing), Erik123 and David Oppenheim are much much better in limit hold em and it's not even close.

Overall DB is definetely one of the most talented players but not the best.

I think that David B horse game is superior to Ivey's...He has been dominating the Horse play for a while.I have seen Singer losing, losing and losing agaisnt David...Icallsowhat is also a big donator.Ivey is good at HU but is ring game sucks.is game is about pressure. and loads of you also remember the great sessions that david b and Hoss had a few months ago...where he totally dominated Hoss...they were playing 50 hands at Limit and 50 hands at Horse for like 8 hours and David came on top. he is also a reasonable Omaha hi/lo.NL is a big no no.saying that, he just won poker after dark (two weeks ago) against Laak, Jenniffer etc etc.
