TLK invested a lot of his money in a bowlinghall in Stockholm which he runs with his 2 brothers. One of them used to play 200/400 limit on Pokerstars as 'Pokkermon'. I agree he was one of the best by far definetely in HU.

I think the stories about Sammy being the best are not true (anymore). This was the case a couple of years ago (2001 - 2004) when the players in the big game usually played fixed limit games (1K-2K to 4K-8K). Some of the players are great Stud players but are horrible in PLO (David Grey for example).

Sammy easily beat them in PLO and Omaha/8 but lost in most other games. However since 2005 there are a couple of other big name pro's who exceeded him by far. He lost a whole lot of money from late 2006 to early 2008.

Most of it to the players in the new big game (only NLH/PLO): Patrick Antonius, David Benyamine, Brandon Adams, Rafi Amit, Nenad Medic and others. Gus Hansen is also a big loser so far.

I've spoken to Brandon, Rafi and a few others during a WSOP event but the reason the pro's are praising Sammy is the same reason Doyle let Lyle Berman write a chapter in SS 2. They see it as a compliment but basically it's a case of don't tap the water.

I like Sammy he is good for tv but he is on the fishy side, the majority of players that show up at highstakes poker are really bad weak players and some just don't know it.

It was interesting if someone could make the math to know how much and who is up and down for the 4 seasons in total.

Calling Sammy a fish goes to far. He is too lose sometimes, but absolutely one of the best around!
