| I am back playing poker...played yesterday some SNGs...I hate them coz my super aggressive style always put me difficult spots...won 1 sng and was up for the session in sngs. But I am starting the real thing soon...small deposit and build up a decent roll and then cash out :-)...watch this space...I currently playing 3$-6$ but expect moving to 5$-10$ over the weekend and towards the end of next week $20-$40...and if I am running really hot...$100-$200 and $200-$400. last time that happened in 2 hours...started playing $3-$6 at 10pm and by 12 I was up 2k.not bad :-) and I will avoid NL for this session...again lost a massive roll on $200-$400.but that is poker.Playing limit, 7 stud hi and Omaha 1. Tourn not my thing anymore, done well at UB won a few tourn but I am s hit these days...six handed is my game... wish me luck...I will keep you posted...when I start hitting the $100-$200 and $200-$400, I will need your support... My tactic??? Take advantage of variance :-) current status: up 85% (small roll)

| I don't like you one bit because of the retarded posts on this site but good luck with your challenge. If you play LIMIT games (Stud, omaha hi/lo) it will be a tough feat to move from 3/6 to 10/20 within 1 month (properly rolled at least). 200/400 is just an illusion also because these games run close to never.

| Cardplayer, I respect your views and I hope you respect mine. There is no need to use that language.I never insulted anybody and I hope the same behaviour towards me.cool??? Off course, I will be under rolled by a mile.I will play short sessions and with the profits I will move up.I read this book ages ago.I need to stop buying them (got around 20).Treat cash games, as Tourn (I think was Coultier book, not sure).Load a $50 and treat cash games as your own tournment.you can select the tables, position and stand up when you are ahead. Move to stakes when you can afford and dropp when you are running bad.If you lose, you only lose $50 lol So far I have managed to win...I hope that happens again...

| What I mean to say is that in an upswing it's not hard to win a lot of money but after 1 or 2 days the tides usually turn. When I started playing 3 years ago I also had a couple of massive upswings, turning $ 50 into 3K in a couple of days but variance will always catch up with you. If you only keep a bankroll of less than 10 buy ins (which is usually the case when you take a shot) you'll go bust more than 95% of the time. That's why I said good luck with it but I'm pretty sure you'll be bust within a week.

| lol...I went bust when I was up 10k (that was insane started with $50)...and played NL...I was not ready...and didnt have a roll lol...and lost coz I was bluffing hahaha.very poor 1...what a surprise.I tilt alot on NL...Limit is a more controlled roll management.I saw this guy at prima few years ago...that done that...only played limit and build a roll to 135k just playing 20/40.Slowly he went up...but that is discipline... I do manage the downswings but put limits on losses and never never chase losses...example: I always have win and a loss limit I will be content with...If sat on 10/20...$300 win will be good for me but a $200 loss not so good-time to leave. My rule is two downswings(10x big blind), it is time to cash out.I had massive upswing two months ago.I was hitting everything...moving up and hitting...after two hours I had $2168...and said wow...played a few hands and lost, I was around $2100...played another small session and lost another $100 and that was the sign and I just cash out...if you move up never play all the roll.I bought a very TV with the poker money...
