that seems a bit high even for these sicko's. I know that there has been talk about getting a big NL/PLO game going, but 4k/8k is absurd it would be nothing to drop 2M in that game.

4k/8k blinds at the bellagio big game are not at all uncommon. I think recently the game hasn't been going or certainly not so big - maybe some of the usual players depleted their rolls a bit but 4k/8k was pretty standard for that particular game.

This will be my last post for 3 weeks because I leave saturday for a nice nonpoker vacation to Brazil with my gf. I heard this rumor also but it's not true.

Brandon Adams who played in the 1K/2K NLH/PLO game last year at Bellagio (highest uncapped game in history) wrote on 2+2 that this rumour is not true and frankly impossible because there aren't enough cranberries (25K chips) around for a game like this (assuming people have to rebuy).

Also most of the people who played in that game won't have the money to play 4K/8K. The only ones rich enough (and willing) to play that game are:

-   Lyle Berman

-   Sammy Farha

-   Patrick Antonius

-   Phil Ivey

and that's basically it. A lot of the players from last year who are the best PLO players in the world (Rafi Amit, Bobby Baldwin, Nenad Medic, etc) are not near rich enough. Besides I believe what Brandon Adams writes since I haven't caught him on a fake story in the past couple of years.

Bobby Baldwin is Pres/CEO of Bellagio so he got money to play in that game.

It's true that the Big Game usually has limits of 2k and 4k, but those are limit games, which makes the buyin significantly lower than a NL or PL game with the same blinds.
