I have played poker online since I bought in for 50 dollars in 2006 and promptly went up to 80 on one hand and then blew that 80 in one night losing when my two pair got sucked out on after the flop and my flush didn't hit. I read prolly 20 books on poker and actually got worse after reading them before I got better. I can honestly say sometimes I can see people's cards in my head or read a situation perfect, and I am in the zone, and occassionaly I have made great calls with Queen high and won.
However, I am not disciplined, and I blew 500 playing $100 heads up when I had two pair cracked twice by top pair. The last 300 of the roll I got steamrolled playing 2/4 heads up like a dummy. Flop was I believe Ace 8 9 and I did not raise before the flop. He raised I called. Then flop came, I bet about the size of the pot. He calls immediately. Turn is a blank, a low, and I bet big again, like 40 dollars. I am called. On the river I push and he calls and had hit two pair on the river (I was bluffing the whole way, not thinking he could call a 100 dollar all in on the river without a very strong ace or two pair).
So i am a donk, and that was in december of 2007. Then my brother gave me 5 bucks to play on PS. I joined and quickly turned it into 75 dollars in 2 days or so playing sit and goes for 5 bucks and several heads up matches.
I then played heads up for all of it in cash on a 1/2 table about a week after starting to build and lost it all to some over aggressive raise reraise freak, who had the bankroll to bully. In short, I was outplayed.
However, during that time I started to develop a feel for the game and situations that I previously had not, and I could start to sense when players were weak even though it was the internet by what I guess was a mix of betting pattern and thinking about past experiences against players who had bet similarly (always beware the min raise is my suggestion), as well as the big Huge bet on the end.
So anyways, I started to get a sense that I could play if I could control my gambling at higher stakes. So about a month later I talked my brother into giving me 10 bucks, and quickly got sucked out on in 2 sit and goes and won a bit back at a cash game and was left with 8.44
Today I decided to start playing several cash game tables at 1/2 cent stakes LOL. I am up to 13 with very few swings. I took some bad beats and ran incredibly well at the same time, which was sick. Example, going to give up on K9 after flop of Q10blank, with two other limpers, when it is checked to me. I check, and the turn is a J, giving me very strong hand since unlikely someone has AK and did not raise preflop at these stakes. First to act bets 10, I raise 40 and am called by two players. River is another ten. I have about 55 cents left and rather than get outplayed for it I decided to push, feeling that I would get called by trip tens and two pair, and that I was dead to a fullhouse no matter what but would have trouble folding. So that was one time I remember losing my buy in. There were a few other times, but usally I was able to double it up and twice I quadrupled it.
End total after 3 hrs was 13. SO anyways I have a lot of talent but I am still learning the discipline and going to have fun with the swings for my stakes so wish me luck and anyways hopefully I can turn this into some decent cash like 30 bucks by next Wednesday.
Anyone got advice on poker tracker or hands etc so I can repost hands or analyze hands etc.
(my account is old and does not have rakeback, which sucks, so if I hit 50 im gonna cash out and rebuy with a new rakeback account).
I am going to win lots of money and then spend it.

I won a 90 person double stack MTT today. Got fairly lucky to not get called on a few well timed and borderline bluffs, never had to go all in except one time when flop was A 5 2 three hearts I had trip aces and it was already heads up for the tournament and I was ahead 165 to 105 in chips.
I raised 3200 which was standard for me, he called. He bet pot with Jack deuce two hearts (I had been running him over all day he was lookin to gamble). I pushed all in thinkin he had a flush draw but that he wouldnt bet that way with the flush, and i was sure he'd call. Anyways he called and the river was 8 h and 9s blanks. So i won 22 bucks and covered my losses from earlier in the day and last night.
I am going to win lots of money and then spend it.
