Hi there!
I am andrew from london, sn: kingmutt on betfair
I just wanted to start a blog here to tell you about the start of my promising poker career!
Basically, been playin online for about 12 months now, playing real stakes for about 9.
Deposited $50 a few times on my ft account and always come out a winner playing touneys, $10 and $25 cash games,
once I won a $5 tourney for $551 with the screen name: andrewmacleod1
Then i withdrew everything with a profit of around $500 in all!! so great!
Spent it, like we all do, booze, girls, pool, etc!
Now i started playing on betfair, depositied $50 about 3 months back and been grinding $10 AND $20 NLH, $10 AND $20 NLH HU with the occasinal $5 tourney.
Got my roll up to $503, how it stands at this minute and i am learning limit hold'em, well i know it, but i've heard that a lot of pros said it was their bread and butter when they were starting out,
still play $20 nlh hu and 6 max, bit less PLO.
Just wanted to discuss hands, experiences and anything about poker with you alll, because we LOVE poker and we are going to make millions and we will spend it all!!!!
On my first limit Hold'em session i played 50cent/$1, bought in for $20, lost it within about 15 minutes, but learnt so much!!!!!!!!!!
Then i rebought $20 and within an hour i was even, then i quit to reflect on the session.
I went back today and bought $20 to the table, lost it again within 20 minutes, then rebought $20 and got thta up to around $30
before this hand occured,
I had to leave and it was my last hand of the session, so as Sam Farha, i play every last hand, i was utg, and i limped with K7os, every other player at the table called, so a family pot.
Flop comes: k77
and i think 
I am going to get these nits to pay me off, as they call all ur AK raises utg with k3 and hit and 3 and get around $3 off u, which is so sick!
anyway
I bet 50 cent into a $3 pot (this is limit guys! not NL)
and one guy calls, and im like, can they see my cards or what?
every time i have a monster they fold, every time i have ak on a xx3 flop he has k3!!!!!!
One guy calls me, and the turn is an Ace.
I decide i want him to bet and then raise him to get maximum value,
i check, he bets, i raise, and we cap the pot!
there's no way he's beating me atm.
River is a blank and we cap again, and he turns over A7 FOR THE HIGH FULL HOUSE

it was so demorolising
i mean, lik wtf???????????
Anyway, tell me ur thoughts, and tell me your stories,
i read in magazines that you should also join some forums?
can someone recomend me some? or tell me some groups to join
am i playing the right limits for my br?

well i look to move asap, but im taking bankroll managment very seriously!
could you help out on my hands? maybe tell me how i could have played them better?

| Hello, I'm a 20 yo from London too (never too clever to post your name and have an open profile on fbook....thought I recognized your name, but dont know u). All I can say to you is you need correct bankroll management and don't let tilt get to you. I learnt this game playing $5 and $10 sit n gos and multis for 6 months until I hit a $6k cash in a $10 multi. Might be easier way to make alot of money in a shorter space of time. Plus ur playing low stakes limit, the rake must be sickly. What I would do is ensure you have a good rakeback deal like 50% at least and there are loads of different sites you can play on which offer this. 3rdly you are getting the poker virus... if you are a uni student make sure you close your online accounts when exams come by or you will fail. Well it doesn't bother me really, I mean......
I want people interested in my poker life and giving me tips, etc
my br is currently $110 and im sitting down at 10/20 heads up waiitn for action and 50/1 limit also waiting for action!
i got action and i lost my first buy in, i thought he was bluffing, and he was! it's just he got lucky and hit his gutshot and i paid him off, (what a nit i am! )
i rebought and then i got all my money back plus a $14 profit! woooooooo
rake was around $6 for a 30 minute game! so much!
The key hand was, when we got all in
ME: a5hearts
HIM: 10 10
I raise from the button, he 3 bets me, i decide to call,
flop comes j52 with 2 hearts, he bets pot, i want to push all in here, for the equity im getting, but in the end decide to see a turn,and just call, turn is harless queen and he pushes all in, i call, because at flop i said to myself that i am going to take the hand till the river,
and the rver completes my flush,
I figured out that on the flop i had a lot of fold equity, and lot sof outs,
2 more 5s, to hit trips, 3 aces to hit 2 pair and 9 hearts!
15 outs= around 60% if im not mistaken????
Some of you will say, i sucked out on the river, but i was planning to raise on the flop, i just wanted to give him a chance to fold him AK (tut, tut)

anyway
at the limit tables i played some hu 50cent/$1 and lost around $8 from my $25 buy in, then the guy left, and someone else came,
i managed to win back the 8 plus $2.45 profit
then another guy came and i nearly lost it all to him! except them i ended out with a $3 profit at the heads up limit hold'em tables
the following hand occured
I raise on the button with j6 (a bit tilted)
and he re raises, i call
flop comes 667
and i decide to slow play, and just call his bet,
turn brings a spade, i raise him this time, and we cap the pot,
i start thinking maybe he has AK spades? or a similar hand???
The river is a Jack, which makes me a full house and we cap the pot and he mucks.
After that i quit for the moment, and im on a $527 br.
Any thoughts on my session???? questions??? comments???
I still want someone here to recommend me a forum?? ive heard of 2+2
but i like want to be directed to someones blog to start, and not register with noone to talk to

HI there again,
had a terrible 2nd session, lost $60 in one heads up match!
sick hands and one terrible bluff! with middle pair!
Then i dropped down to $10 nlh hu, and lost $10 again
And finally I was on around $480
then i moved up to $20 hu again, for one last heads up match,
and won around $30
so in the whole, not a bad day, finished today with around $510 as my br
I will become a poker millionaire
