Hi all does anybody know why he doesn't really seem to have been playing the highest stakes since he became a red pro???

I was thinking perhaps he wanted to avoid the inevitable donswing when somebody becomes a redpro but any suggestions would be welcome!

man i would say ur right maybe he just came to his sences no one can really survive at these stakes unless u have a serious sponsorship deal or ur a billionare to survive,  look at icallsowhat up 4.5 mill 1st 5 months of the year 2 months later he is broke u gott a be prepared mentally and financially especially in omaha such a crazy game.

i bet richard is just layin back with all those millions in the bank just chuggin along now he prob set a low bankroll for himself since he changed from chufty and building it up again, i bet he realises that he can go broke a thing alot of the highstakes players need to come to terms with.

no thats not it all at, chuftys the perfect type of player to handle downswings he already has handled them extremely well, ask yourselves this, why i risk being unlucky and losing a mil a 200 400 when im now sponsored by full tilt get payed like 1-2 k an hour to play and get 100% rakeback at 50-100 all he has to do now is just play and he gets paid and also bust peopel on top of that so theres no point for himt o be playing so high anymore

Also, the games running really have not been too soft.  I guess because of what everyone else is saying about people going broke.

people tend to forget that, yes he is still up 1.5 mill on the games covered here at that time, but he did lose alot of money in the horse games on ftp before they were tracked by highstakesdb so i doubt that that 1.5mill figure is correct!

Just curious... How do you know Ashby gets 1-2K per hour of play?
