Hi, am just wondering if anyone knows if durrr is going broke? I know he's down atleast 1.5M the couple a few days.. (and yes i know he's been winning alot too) but, he always use to buyin the max at the 200\400 PLO games, and the 300\600 NL games, and always play Ivey HU at thunderstorm, but the last few days, i've seen him just buyin for the minimum at those tables, and not playing Ivey i n awhile, and i havent seen him around on PStars lately either, anyone knows? or is he just taking it easy, to make a huuge comeback?

It's not that unusual for him to buy in short - I've seen him do it on PLO tables for a while.
Don't forget young guys like Durrrr, Stinger, Raptor etc rely on their internet winnings probably a little more than Ivey, Benyamine et al, so it makes sense to limit the variance where you can by buying in short and trying to run up a stack.

hes buying in 50 instead of 100 BB on average, also keep in mind all these highstakes players dont have there entire roll online as that would be stupid so its also possible he just doesnt have that much moeny online at once

I listened to durrrr when he was on Cash Plays with Bart Hanson a few months ago and he was talking a lot about that he doesnt mind taking shots at higher stakes if the game is good. I e he said that is someone offered him 3 to 2 for 50% of his bankroll on a coinflip he would take it.

I dont think that durrrr is broke, but i dont think he is really rolled to play the 0,5k/1k NLHE either. But when you look at the action i can see fore sure why he would consider that to be a good spot to be in.

Its very funny to read theese forums when so many people say that "he pushes draws and gets there" and by that try to implicate that someone is a terrible player. A terrible players calls with draws. The new trendy thing in poker is to bet light, reraise light etc. If you just plays super strong hands fast then you will get no action whatsoever. If you browse through many of the hands that durrrr has won you will find that he gets so much action when he has a a-class hand that probably the times when he pushes light and get called is a risk worth taking.
