RE: Isildur1 continues his domination of durrrr. Wins $858K.

To the writer of this article:
PLEASE, do not give out your opinion about the play. It really bothers me to read your thoughts about plays in high stakes cashgames. Can´t you just decribe the action without giving you opinion?
I'm sure you have some knowledge of the game, but you're being absurd when you criticize or comment on plays of durrrr or other high stakes players. Esecially given your own level of thinking. Even for another high stakes player it's difficult to comment on the game, becouse it's important to know the dynamics and history between the players. Most of the visitors of this site are not intersted in your opinion, but want to read and discuss.
I used to check the site more often and read the summery of play, but now I visit this site much less frequently becouse of your writing. I´m pretty sure you must have a negative effect on the site with those stories/articles you write.
I´m sure you mean well, but consider changing the way you write.

Please comment if you agree or disagree.

Cheers, Thomas

I agree, the writer has no clue and his writing is not good. I also used to visit this site but seldom do that anymore. There are far better sites that provide better information without messing it up.

yes, please stop analysing the plays. it's painful to read and more importantly it's very bad for poker.

also, please start using grammar check before hitting submit.

Hahaha

guys, calm down!! it's not the end of the world, there are many new players who love reading this sort of stuff and it helps them improve. Although it might not be useful to some, it is to the bigger part of the readers.

Mr.LOL maybe you could have a short news and a long one?? That way you could pick what one to look at??

Is there a way you could track Isuldur vs durrrr heads up and total up all the figures, so we know how much they're up or down against each other????

Thanks

I said that after the first article but they dont listen :p Just have the old summary and maybe a link to a longer article for those who wish to view it.

I used to visit the site and get everything within 10sec..now you need to read the whole article and the pointless analysis.

Commentary on the play is certainly not out of line. I don't know about you guys but (for example) i for one like gabe and aj making all sorts of comments on HSP. Them giving their opinion is ok but opiniated commentary here in an article is not?

I like reading the articles.

Please continue writing them.

On TV there is always people commentating poker, not always quality comments.

I think Baard does a good job. If someone disagrees with his analysis, they can always say what they mean in the forum.

I don't understand the criticism. Is high stake poker online somehow to advanced to be commented?

there is already a discussion about this. see highstakesdb.com feedback . . .this thread is about isildurrrr owning durrr

"Once durrrr hit the two pairs on the turn, he made a nice over-bet that served to purposes"

"to" in that context is spelled "TWO"

I like the commentary. Agree or disagree with the their opinion of how the hand was played, its just that, an opinion. I think its good to hear others point of view. It nice to see that not everyone sees everything the same. They may see something in the hand or looked at it differently then I may have. You may pick up tips from their point of view that you could use in your own game or at least know that a play you make could be seen/viewed in such a way that maybe profitable to you. Either way I would rather discuss game theory base on their commentary than discuss durrrrs bankroll.

RE: Isildur1 continues his domination of durrrr. Wins $858K.

We actually have much more readers on the articles now than earlier. When I was writing the reports noone commented either

Now it has been much more discussions about specific hands where people think baard is incorrect and they instead share there ideas. So, that's actually great. We will probaly have some more article writers in the future, maybe even a panel where multiply writes can share there different point of view when analysing the game.

But, we will try to make some stuff for the people who don't have the time, or is to lazy, or simply don't care about analyzis. One thing is the live function we are working on and we will also try to make some automatically-summary-report-ala-railbird. I'll probably call him the "Railtard" if we manage to develop it
