RE: Has durrrr already won the durrrr challenge?
If i where PA id make excuses and not complete the challenge. If they both dont reach a certain amount of hands then there's no winner or loser. But for them paying up is not a big deal

cormonde (2010-03-08) no, 16,000 plus hands yet left!!! in a very strong position, but all needs is one big session from pa!!!Durrrr would probably be able to play super tight and win this challenge pretty easy now, but, the risk of durrrr doing that feels like maybe 1%

Nah, there's no way it's over. Although I think durrrr has been the superior player in this challenge, 16k hands is a lot. durrrr mentioned in an interview that getting tight is not an option until the hands are in their hundreds.. and said the whole dynamic of the game will change as PA will be looking for big stacks/pots whereas durrrr is looking to cut out leaks and take advantage of PA's desperation.
Way too many hands left at the moment though.. 11BB/100 is nothing playing HU PLO.
Durrrr and Gus own.

RE: Has durrrr already won the durrrr challenge?
To bad we dont have a allin Ev graph. Really like to see it. My guess is that Durrrr is running above EV. Durrr won 17,7 K hands against 15.3 from Pat. The average pot for durrr was 2.743 against 3.058. This means that Durrrr is the more aggressive one. Rasing a lot and winning more small pots. Yet: Still 8 out of the 10 biggest hands are won by durrr for a total sum of 2.5 M against 750.000 for Pat. Im to lazy to check all the EV in the 10 biggest hands but if someone wants check: challenge at FT

RE: Has durrrr already won the durrrr challenge?
I think durrr will see this as great opportunity to make more cash pa is running and palying pretty bad this year if it gets last few thousand hands he will be playing huge catch up and durrr couldtake an extra 500k. however I think durrr wll probably have one or two minor session wins and pa will tighten up so as not to loose an extra million from here out. Not a good 2010 for PA...

RE: Has durrrr already won the durrrr challenge?
This is what baard wrote just ago about the isi - ziggy match
They started out playing 700 hands of $300/$600 PLO where Isildur came out a $710K winner. After that, Ziigmund accepted a challenge to go to $500/$1000, but didn’t fare much better. After another 345 hands, he had lost close to $330K
He made 1K a hand at 300-600 and same for 500-1K.
Not impossible for Pat to take 100 a hand at 200-400. But he has to do it for 15K hands instead of 1000
