played some sngs and cash tables tonight. 25nl, 50nl, and 200nl.
id be up much more if i didnt waste my time playing sng's right now. im just running awful in them and they are killing my roll. lol
i think this weekend i will primarily play cash tables and only a couple of sngs. i really wanna get my roll up to 1k so i can just get over 25nl asap and play 50nl consistently.

l only played a couple of sng's today ($10-$20). broke even for the short session. eh its better than losing.
i still want to just grind my br up some more before i really take on cash games again. ill probably feel right when i get closer to $1500. since i have broken the $1k mark i hate going back under and i dont want it to affect my play because swings happen.
I will say that im very happy with my progress in December. starting with $50 and turning it into $1100 in about a month at low stakes is pretty impressive in my book. i didnt really expect to be this far along this quick. im also happy that when i tilt i dont feel the need to jump on $1000NL. I think i learned my lesson last time with my bankroll. a very smart man said "just about every successful person has a page full of lessons learned". well i have about two. lol also i think that i learned my lesson with trying to take short cuts. no matter how many times you read the tortoise and the hair, the tortoise always wins.
im very happy to be starting the new year off with something to work with. my goal for 2008 is to reach $10k. i also still have the "pipe dream" of one day playing poker full time. that would be nice. i think i have the potential and what it takes no question. the average poker player is a losing poker player. im obviously not a losing poker player. this also isnt the first time ive taken pretty much nothing and turned it into something so im not just on a lucky donk run. its gonna come down to good br management to make my dream a reality. learning more and more is also key because after all i have only been playing for 3 years now and thats nothing.
still if anyone can help me out with getting set up for rakeback on ftp even though i already have an account please let me know. it is a necessity.
