big idea for victory poker - or maybe not
I've played there a little, traffic during the day in US is ~1000, at night it's ~200. Anyway, i was thinking, if
they really want break through and become a contender they should stake isildur to play the durrrr challenge, and have it played on Victory poker. Durrrr said he would play it anywhere assuming it's a reputable site.
hmmm, but i guess that was before he was a red pro. I wonder if now he can only play the challenge on FT.
But if it was possible, Victory poker could get tons of people signing up to watch the durrrrr challenge. be great for them.

no way FTP would allow it to take place anywhere but FTP...publicity, rake, the fact that durrr is a red pro, all signs point to FTP only...besides I doubt victory poker would get the money back if isildur1 were to bust, which he probably will
Poker is pretty much flipping coins for money...

well, when durrrr started the challenge it could be played anywhere as long as he found the site to be
reputable. Probably not he case now that durrrr is team FT, but he was not when it started.
I was just saying if they could raise the 2 or 3M to stake isildur, it wouldn't matter whether he won. They would
get a ton of publicity and a huge increase in traffic and players at their site.

The point is not that he would win, it would be great publicity and get tons of people signing up for their site.
If they increased their traffic 10X because of it, they could make their money back pretty quickly.
obv it's never gonna happen.

its obv a good idea to get isildur - partypoker tryed it somehow and this other side with the new suffle-system offered him his own table. The durrr-challange obv wont happen somwhere else then on the ft-tables. what they could do is an isildur-challange

In theory, not a bad idea, but the only people insane/good enough to play isildur1 hu in nl are all apart of Team FullTilt.

Does not sound bad, but I think a lot of guys would just download their sfotware to watch the games without registering. I am also curious why the victory poker team does not play on their own site.. guys like antonio and robl.
