Though his live poker accomplishments aren’t exactly impressive, Di Dang is without a doubt one of the most successful online poker players. He shares a bankroll with his brother, Hac Dang (known online as trex313) and the two brothers never play at the same table.
Di Dang spends most of his time on Full Tilt Poker where his nickname is “urindanger” but also plays at PokerStars under the name “ilvdnfl”. Urindanger’s strength is consistency. He seldom ever ends a month below the red line at Full Tilt, and he has amassed around $3.7 million at Full Tilt Poker in 2008 alone. Dang is so successful at Holdem and he’s so dominant heads-up that it has been difficult for him to find action lately as nobody really wants to play him “mano a mano”.
He was forced to seek action at the PL Omaha tables, although the switch didn’t really seem to matter much to him, and he continued on with his winning ways.
Another interesting thing about Urindanger is that he is not too keen to hog any spotlight. He appears to be content with playing and making money online and he’s not looking to make a name for himself on the live circuit. Just about the only solid evidence of him playing live is a clip from the 2007 WSOP Main Event’s Day 1d, when the cameras catch him taking down a pot against Daniel Negreanu. The Canadian then proceeds to lecture him on strategy, quite probably unaware of who Dang really is.
