Jared “harrington25” Bleznick is a professional poker player from Roslyn, NY, who is usually found on the Full Tilt Poker high stakes tables. As a sign of a true high stakes player, Bleznick consistently plays in some of the biggest PLO, NLHE and FLHE games at Full Tilt.
But like most players, Bleznick’s beginnings in the poker world were pretty humble, as evidenced by his chart at HighStakesDB. From the beginning of 2007 to the start of 2010, harrington25 shows a slow downswing that left him at -$18k. But after a couple of huge months, Bleznick increased his winnings to $541k, which set him up for even bigger success in the future.
From March, 2010 to January, 2011, Bleznick earned over $2.1 million at Full Tilt, with most of the earnings coming from his specialty, PLO. Unfortunately for harrington25, he has taken a big downswing over the past few months having lost several hundred thousand of dollars. But this isn’t to say that he’s gone without any success during the downswing because Bleznick earned $416,713 on February 18th, 2011. Playing under the name “harrington10” at PokerStars, he earned $302,449 against the likes of Ilari “Ilari FIN” Sahamies, Pylusha and FlotsamFiend; Bleznick pulled in another $114,264 at Full Tilt.
Going back to his harrington10 name, this brings us to another interesting point in that Bleznick has not only experienced tons of success at FT, but he has earned over $500k at PokerStars too.
As far as live tournament achievements are concerned: he finished 8th in 2006, in the Annual Turning Stone Classic, and pocketed $1,118. That may not look like much at first glance, but considering he only started playing seriously in 2006, it is quite an achievement indeed. In 2007, he went on to log a 9th place finish in the Heartland Poker Tour’s NL Holdem Championship, pocketing $4,057 in the process.
One more thing worth mentioning about Bleznick is that he recently made his first TV appearance on the popular NBC show Poker After Dark.
