Chan has participated in the famous (but secret to the outside world) High Roller Cash Games in Macao for three years.
In 2008 he won $199K by taking down Full Tilt's FTOPS IX first event NLHE, with a $216 buy in and a field of 5779 players.
In August 2011 when GARFIELD25 first showed up Pokerstars, Chan managed to dig himself into $500K hole. Perhaps he just didn't get along with variance, something that every PLO player encounter from time to time. However, during November Chan seems to have made friends with variance, and has put in a lot of hours to cover up all of his recent losses.
