Gabriel "verve.oasis" Goffi is professional poker player that resides in São Paulo, Brazil.
Goffi started his poker career grinding $0.25/$0.50 and $0.50/$1 NLHE online cash games in 2008 at the age of 19. In a tilt day he lost about 10 buy-ins and decided to look for a live cash game nearby and found a soft 1/2 NLHE. With the skills he acquired playing online, it wasn't any hard to beat these games and so he moved up pretty quickly to 5/5 and then $25/$50 and $50/$100 which were the biggest live games in Brazil back then.
At the same time, the popularity of Omaha was growing up fast in his country, specially at higher stakes. Even with some pros advising him not to play PLO because of its huge variance, Goffi wasn't afraid to follow the flow and started doing really well at the new game, where he built up most of his bankroll playing as high as $200/$400.
Meanwhile, he did not let online games aside. Since 2011, "verve.oasis" has been quite active at the high stakes Pot Limit Omaha at PokerStars, where he spends most of his poker time nowadays playing up to $200/400.
Gabriel Goffi also has two runner-up finishes, one at the BSOP (Brazilian Series of Poker) and the other one at the CPH (Sao Paulo Poker Circuit). You can check his website, his twitter @ggoffi and also HighstakesDB's interview with verve.oasis.
