Rafi “refaelamit” Amit is a player who first made his mark in poker through the live tournament world. In 2005 Amit took down the WSOP $10k Pot-Limit Omaha event, he was rewarded with $511,835 on top of the gold bracelet. The following years were also very good for the Israeli, in 2006 he cashed in no less than five of the WSOP events. During the World Series the 2007 he won the Limit Deuce-to-Seven Triple Draw tournament bracelet and $227,005, he faced Lenny Martin heads up at the final table, a specialist and bracelet winner in this particular form of poker.

Amit has also managed to grind out a very successful online career. As I am writing this (October 9th 2011) refaelamit is up $1,947,320 and topping the yearly leaderboard on Pokerstars. All of these winnings comes from playing Pot-Limit Omaha.

In August 2011 refaelamit won a $170K pot (750 big blinds), playing $100/200 against the King of Swings, also known as Isildur1

A hand the illustrates the importance of position in deep stack PLO, and the insane amount of pressure that Viktor Blom puts on his opponents. It also shows how valuable it can be to induce bluffs in the right situations, to quote David Sklansky the great poker authority: "The ability to induce bluffs is a sign of an expert player". The deuce on the river is not the best card in the deck, but still a great card for refaelamit's hand. None of the possible draws gets there, and the most likely two pair holding KQ is counterfeited. I wonder if the young swede would have gotten away with the bluff if a king, queen or spade fell on the river.
