Adrian Mateos Wins partypoker CPP $25k SHR for $520,464

Spains Adrian Mateos came through a stellar field to lift the partypoker LIVE Caribbean Poker Party $25k SHR title last night, a heads-up deal handing him $520,464 before winning a flip for the trophy.

The $2million guarantee was smashed as 125 entries ponied up the $25k each, a total of $3,125,000 there for the taking, and no shortage of big-name players chasing their share.

Among the seventeen who made the money on day three were Team partypoker pro Kristen Bicknell and her other half, Alex Foxen, with Darren Elias exiting in 9th to give us the final table of eight.

There were three UK players in the mix, online and live highstakes crusher Michael Zhang among them, as well as Scotland’s most successful tournament player Niall Farrell.

A couple of flips saw Zhang and Kisacikoglu hit the rail, with Pollak and Farrell soon joining them, the Frenchman running into Brock Wilson’s aces.

England’s Christopher Fraser was the only relative unknown to make it this far, and he secured an excellent 3rd place and $326,250, leaving Brock Wilson with a huge chip lead heads-up against Mateos.

After battling back to almost level-pegging, a deal was soon struck that saw Wilson take $619,536, Mateos settling for $520,464, but the title and trophy went to the young Spanish crusher after a flip.
