Coral Leave iPoker To Join GVC partypoker Network

Coral Poker players have until midnight tomorrow night to spend their bonuses after the announcement that they would be migrating from the iPoker network to the GVC partypoker network…

A brief email sent out to players last week explained that Coral Poker are joining the GVC partypoker network, the safest and most established poker network in the world.

While iPoker and the soon-to-close MPN skins continue to scramble around for new homes, Coral Poker would appear to have landed on their feet - their parent company Ladbrokes Coral bought by GVC Holdings last year.

Quite what it all means for Coral players is not yet clear, although the email also states ‘These changes won’t affect your cash balance… unfortunately they will reset your Poker Points and Bonus balances.’

It adds: ‘Points, Bonuses, Golden Chips & Free Spins will remain in your account until 23:59 on 3rd December, 2019.’

The bonuses are held by Playtech’s iPoker network, who would appear to be in some confusing transitional phase – taking the MPN Russian skin Red Star Poker but unable to keep Coral.

Red Star Poker is the only one of MPN’s skins to have announced a new network, HighstakesDB revealing last week that the official closing date of the network would be May 20th, 2020.

For partypoker it’s a welcome boon, the rapid ascent to number two in the online poker world supported by being recently named Poker Operator of the Year for the third consecutive year.

As soon as we have more news for Coral Poker players, we’ll bring it to you here.
