Three of Illinois’ finest made the final table of nine, although Puplik’s 6th place for SC$1,104.40 was the best they could muster between them.

The $1050 buy-in tournament saw highstakes reg NickVanExel finishing in 10th spot, a $3,616 payday, with the delightfully-named IeatURbankr0L doing just that with a 4th place run worth $16,385.

Heads-up came down to a battle between ChristinePoker and cspoker, and it was the latter who took the $48,590 first prize, runner-up Christine securing $29,945.

The ACR Sunday Special PLO was another attractive tournament on the weekend grind, a $35k guarantee attracting 170 entries, with 27 paid spots.

One of those went to serial casher Groothedegen, who streams his poker adventures on TwitchTV and took $595 for his 13th place yesterday.

TRUMPING_YOU continued some recent fine form for a 9th place cash of $840, but the big money was reserved for the top two spots, supportthekids emerging victorious against danyellie to take the $8,050 first prize.

Over on partypoker, we had a couple of huge tournaments on the schedule, none more so than the $500k GTD High Roller Sunday Big Game, won last week by Daniel 'Jungleman' Cates.

This Sunday’s version saw a huge turnout, $660,000 in the prizepool after 132 entries registered at $5200 apiece, making the top prize more than $150,000.

Joni Jouhkimainen was among those running deep, taking $14,652 in 11th place, with partypoker Team pro Roberto 'R_Romanello' Romanello – aka The Welsh Wizard – landing 8th and $19,800.

The difference between first and second was a whopping $43k, but there was no word of a deal being made as bitw1 and BtchrByTrade battled for top honours.

In the end, BtchrByTrade prevailed and scooped the $151,734 up top, with bitw1 taking a six-figure consolation prize, $108,900, as runner-up.

To finish off, we had the High Roller Sunday Masters, exactly 200 entries paying $1050 each and again featuring some of the site’s very best players.

Highstakes crusher FromHolland1945 had to settle for a relatively low 14th place and $2960 payday, but Madgenius111, Brachiosaurus and El_Cucuy all made it to the final table.

The title and $40,780 went to TyAngry, who saw off another of partypker’s biggest winners, Quantum_Leap, the runner-up spot worth $29,600.

That’s it for our look at the biggest sites and biggest winners of the Sunday grind, but we’ll be back again next week of course to keep you up-to-date with best of the online MTTs.
