AndreyBolkonsky Goes 1-2 for $120k Christmas Bonus on partypoker

There was plenty of Christmas present cash to go around as the penultimate online Sunday grind of the year took place, and it was highstakes MTT crusher AndreyBolkonsky who grabbed the biggest chunk of it on partypoker, a 1 – 2 worth almost $120,000!

The $5200 buy-in Sunday Big Game saw him top a field of 81 entries, the total prizepool some $405,000 with the top dozen making the money.

That 12th spot went to one of the year’s biggest winners on partypoker, PayAndPlay, who pocketed $13,162.50 – the same as the next three spots.

One payjump up was Kenny 'Spacey_FCB' Hallaerts in 8th just behind another beast of the MTT scene, New York JimmY.

Up ahead, the top three were looking at $50k minimum, onehundredeyez taking $52,650 and leaving Bolkonsky and sims_or_sins… to agree a deal.

Second spot was worth $87,909 for sims while Bolkonsky took down the day’s biggest cash of $94,340.

The Sunday High Roller Masters saw two of partypoker’s own running deep, Team online pro Jeff 'JeffGross' Gross and Team pro Roberto 'R_Romanello' Romanello making the money.

The Welsh Wizard bagged 9th place for $3330 while streamer and commentator Gross took $4500 for his eighth place.

The last two standing from the original 149 entries were Player 123560423 and that man AndreyBolkonsky again, although the latter had to settle for runner-up this time, an extra $24,750 in the kitty, while Player scooped the $34,485 victor’s spoils.

Over on Americas CardRoom, the Sunday Special once again surpassed its guarantee by a huge chunk, the 814 entries producing a $162k prizepool.

BarryBadrnth and TrumpThatcher both claimed top ten finishes again, but it was niruth who took  the first of the 5-figure payouts with a 4th place run worth $12,128.

Dollersprint grabbed 3rd for $16,117, leaving SDlegend to battle harvardreginald heads-up, the win eventualy going to the latter for a $29,873 cash – a runner-up payday worth $21,326 for SDlegend.

ACR’s $200k was almost on the money with 198 entries, the top 18 looking to double their money at least in the popular $1050 event.

ScottishPippin was a new name at the business end, a $7000 cash for 7th spot, while captainAA managed one place better for $9k. Frankie Knuckles 5th place was good enough for the first 5-figure cash, $12k, and he was followed to the rail by BigKrem in 4th for $15,500.

Fun Player took 3rd for a $20,600 payout and that left LuckBox8710 to fight it out with j_peso4, the latter winning and taking a cool $45,000.
