Last week saw the dates for the Main Event, Seniors and Big 50 published and this week saw another press release from WSOP Vice President Jack Effel, stating: “While we are still putting together the 2020 WSOP schedule in its entirety, we have cemented the key no-limit hold’em events that anchor it all.”

With the WSOP running from May 27th until July 15th, the latest announcements add the Casino Employees, Millionaire Maker, Monster Stack, Ladies, Double Stack, Super Seniors, Tag Team, Colossus, Crazy Eights, Mini Main Event, Little One for One Drop and the Closer to the schedule.

Effel added: “We hope this announcement right before the holidays can help you lock in travel plans so you can join us at the Rio in Las Vegas for the 51st running of the WSOP. We will continue to fill out the rest of the schedule and provide updates as we progress.”

The Main Event

As reported previously, the flagship Main Event will feature three starting flights, on July 1st, July 2nd and July 3rd, with July 4th set aside for those surviving flights one and two. July 5th will be the second day 2 for the July 3rd qualifiers.

Day 3 sees all the survivors reconvene on Monday July 6th, with the final table expected to be set by the end of play on Friday July 10th.

A free day has been set aside on July 11th – for rest or delays – and the Main Event final table will be televised on ESPN/ESPN2 over the July 12th -14th.
