Blom Scoops SHRB Hattrick as Greenwood and Eibinger Bag Titles

Viktor Blom struck yet again at the Super High Roller Bowl Online series on partypoker, bagging a third win in just six days to increase his huge lead in the leaderboard race…

Blom’s triptych came in the 3rd event of the day, event 21 of the 28-tournament series, which attracted 55 entries at $10k per head and witnessed perhaps the strongest final table of the week.

Ike Haxton was there, as was Steve O’Dwyer, Belarus beast Mikita Badziakouski, Canadian highstakes crusher Timothy Adams, Jake Schindler and Ali Imsirovic – and of course Blom himself.

With almost $200k up top, as well as a chunk of leaderboard points, both Adams and Badziakouski were multi final-tabling as another $10k and the daily $25k SHR reached their conclusions.

Adams bagged 5th place, with Mikita just ahead in 4th, with O’Dwyer taking 3rd, leaving Haxton and Blom to decide the winner heads-up.

Blom had already pocketed more than $1million from his brace of victories and a runner-up cash and he added another $195,250 to that impressive total by edging out his opponent for victory number three.

Final results

1 Viktor Blom $195,250
2 Isaac Haxton $130,625
3 Stephen O’Dwyer $83,875
4 Mikita Badziakouski $52,625
5 Timothy Adams $35,750
6 Jacob Carl Schindler $27,500
7 Ali Imsirovic $23,375

The other $10k on the schedule saw 70 entries and another stacked final table, Dan Smith – victor in Blom’s runner-up finish – Sergei Reixach and Kristen Bicknell among the contenders in the money.

Badziakouski added a 5th place for a $100k+ day at the tables while partypoker pro Bicknell bagged 3rd place and $98k, leaving Matthias Eibinger to battle Russia’s Artur Martirosyan heads-up.

Both men have been in excellent form this past week or so, and it was the Austrian who added an SHRB title and $217k to his SCOOP win last week.

Final results

1 Matthias Eibinger $217,000
2 Artur Martirosian $150,500
3 Kristen Bicknell $98,000
4 Joao Vieira $63,000
5 Mikita Badziakouski $49,000
6 Sergi Reixach $40,250
7 Christopher Malcolm Fraser $33,250
8 Dan Smith $26,250

The biggest Saturday SHRB payday went to Sam Greenwood, the Canadian outlasting a field of 41 other runners to scoop $399,000 after defeating Christoph Vogelsang heads-up.

The final hand saw Vogelsang, at risk, pairing the river but that same card making Greenwood’s straight for the title.

Final results
